I have a 310 and purchased an SD card for France from Navman, it says it works in the 310/320/330 so my guess is that a 320 map will work in a 330.

Carefully remove the front facia, this is a piece of trip that surrounds the buttons on the front, and is best removed by slipping a knife alond the left and right sides of the unit. It does come off easily.

Then you will reveal 4 screws, they hold the front of the unti to the back of the unit. Remove these screws, take care, they are small, and when you replace them do not over tighten them. They are not phillips type screws, they are the hex type, the same type that are used on many mobile phones. You can buy a screwdriver to suit very cheaply.

When all the srews are removed, you can use a knife or flat screwdriver to gently depress the locating lug at the base of the unit in the centre, there are 2 similar lugs at the top, but once the bottom one is dis-located, the two on top can just be lifted over.

When you seperate the two halves,(front & back), take care, as there are 3 wires conected by micro plugs, these can easily be withdrawn, and cannot be confussed as they are all different.

You now have 2 halves, and you will see the speaker and a wire leading behind a locking plate to the battery, remove the 2 screws that are on the locking plate/speaker, and then gently lift the plate off. You now have direct access to the battery and can simply lift it out.

This really sounds complicated when writing it, but seriously, I have just done mine, and until 20 mins ago I had never done it either. It will take you 15 mins max, because you have some instructions to follow. !!

If you overtighten the screw on re-assembly, they will strip the threads and also if the unit is too tight it will affect the operation of the buttons on the front, they wont be able to be depressed or released.

I would like to order new maps for mine GPRS-ICN 330. I am interested bought new maps from the countries like:Holland,Spain, France, Germany, Belgian. I need to upgrade mine GPRS navigation (new maps).

And tell me it's possible to have them in Polish language?

Tell me where I can bought them because when I looking in yours web site I can't find the products what I need.

Poss that the battery is totally dead, and therfore will not power up even when on ac or 12v charger lead. Often the battery is part of the circuit, and if the battery is dead rather than just weak or discharged, then the circuit is incomplete.

I posted on here how to remove the battery, you can get a replacement quite easily. Also would be an idea to search out a correct output charger, or maybe borrow one just to determine if the problem was with the battery rather than a blown unit.

Did you try to remove the chip yet?, sometimes that helps, and re boots the system?

Failing that, try to remove the battery, to enable the unit to completely power-down. Then refit, and try again.

There is a reset function, but i am assuming you are unable to access that if the screen is frozen.

Ref ICN330. The external antenna connection is on the top side of the flip up Antenna on the unit itself. There is a small rubber plug covering this, adjacent to the Navman logo.. Ricmac

does your car have a heat reflective windscreen ?
if it does you will need an external aerial for the gps .

hello peter To restore the device to factory default settings, go to Settings > Device > Restore factory defaults. Please note that you will lose all stored information on the unit including addresses (ex. MY Places, Recent Locations). you can aslo contact the customer care
