Good day,

It sounds like you have bought compatible cartridges for your printer.
There is a very easy reset to do, then your printer will print but it will not show how much ink is still left in the cartridges.

Step 1:
Try printing something, if the page print, then continue to print till the printer give an error that say the "the ink has run out".

Step 2:
If that message comes up (the ink has run out) then there is an red button on your printer. Its an circle with an upside-down triangle.
Hold that button till the massage on the printer disappear.

Step 3:

Wait until the page that you wanted to print comes out.

You will be able to print normally from there, if the prints become light, then you need to replace the cartridges or have it refilled.
