How to dowload pictures from camera to mac
It's not practical to give full instructions on an email. Check the instruction manual for details.
Basically, you must install the drivers and program software in to the computer. When you connect the camera the computer will know the camera is present and establish a connection to it. You simply follow the prompts.
Most cameras come with PC based software and drivers. You will have to contact the camera manufacture to obtain the Mac software if it is available for your model of camera.

What does write protect mean in the screen
most camera data cards have a 'write protect' slide switch on the side of them, which if it is in the 'write protect' mode, nothing can modify, or put new files onto it.
Basically what it's telling you is that you can't take pictures with that card until you pop it out and slide the switch to an 'unlock' or 'non-write-protect' position.
I lost driver cd ,i need drivers & software
Hi,
There are no drivers needed for the Olympus FE-190. Once
connected through its USB, the computer will treat it as a USB mass
storage device similar to a removable /flash drive.
If for some
reason the PC won't recognize the camera, it is probably a problem with
the USB cord, the USB port or the memory of the camera.
Alternately, you can use a memory card reader and slip in the memory card of the camera to gain access to the content/pictures.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Flash doesn't work (ever). got it wet
Water on or in any kind of camera can spell doom to the inner workings and circuits.
If the camera ever gets any kind of water inside, the chances of fixing the camera is not good.
Something which could be tried when any kind of water gets into a camers's insides is this:
Immediately remove the battery or batteries. The reason for this is that the circuits are live when a battery or batteries are installed. This can lead to damage and shortages which will lead to all kinds of circuit troubles.
My suggestion is to sell the camera on a site such as Ebay for parts, as is, or repair parts.
The reason is the the repairs more than likely will cost more than you want to spend.
Can another brand chord be used to download pics?
Your camera uses a standard USB-to-miniUSB adapter. If you want to get a new cable (or you might have one at home), it should look like this:
