hi, your camera's head is either damaged or may be dirt on the scanning chip of the head, try to clean it with a head cleaner tape, if the head is effected with clog, try to clean it several times. then test it with a prerecorded cassette. if there is no any progress, it means the head is faulty, it must replace with a new one.

try connecting the camcorder to a pc using the cable, sometimes a pc can fix the drive. or you will need to do a factory reset. press in the rest button next to the lcd screen for 3 seconds.
