How do I keep date stamp from showing on my pictures taken with a Cannon SD4000?

SnapTouch can apply the date to photos. It is one of the major features of the program. Information is taken out of EXIF data of the photo file that the camera creates during shooting. You can also add any comment using SnapTouch and also apply it onto a shot. How to Use SnapTouch

Do i use usb to charge sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S500?

No. The DSC-S500 uses standard AA batteries, either disposable alkalines or rechargeable NiMHs. If you use rechargeables, they must be charged outside the camera using a separate charger.

What is the best battery use in Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S500

The DSC-S500 uses standard AA batteries, either disposable alkalines or rechargeable NiMHs. If you use rechargeables, they must be charged outside the camera using a separate charger. The choice is up to you. The camera will take more photos on a set of alkalines than on one charge of NiMHs, and alkalines are cheaper. However the NiMHs can be recharged and used again, while alkalines are one-use.

Changed from XP to Windows 7 pro and system will not recognize the camera to download pics. Have updated drivers and software. No luck. How do I get them off the card onto my harddrive

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTERIf your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

Doesn't work with windows 7

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.
