I have a sansa connect 4g it does not want to

The battery could be dead and can be replaced if you have another player as batteries aren't sold separately. But first try the Sansa Recovery tool found on the following website and let me know how that goes. http://www.sansacommunity.com/article/11050/Sansa-Connect-Recovery-Tool-Procedures/

I need sansa connect mp3 payer software

The Sansa Connect doesn't require any special drivers. All it requires is that you have Windows Media Player version 10 or higher installed on your computer.

Suddenly the sansa will not synch with Windows Media Player.

When you attach your Connect via USB to your computer, verify that the Connect is displayed as a "portable media player" under "My Computer" in Windows Explorer.

If it isn't ... try a different USB port. The Connect requires a high-power USB port, which is typically found on the back panel of your computer.

If this doesn't work, try the Connect on another computer (just verify that it shows up under "My Computer", as I mentioned). If it does, you may have a problem with the installation of WMP on your computer ... try re-installing WMP, and make sure you install the latest version of WMP. If the Connect isn't recognized on the other computer, it's possible that there is a problem with the USB cable - get a replacement.

My Sansa connect's thumbwheel is stuck what do I do?

There isn't very much you can do about a physical defect such as this. On the positive side, Sansa Connects are selling very cheaply these days ;-) ... you can usually get one for under $35 from eBay, or possibly even a website such as Buy.com or Newegg.com.

Computer won't recognize Sansa connect.

The Sansa Connect requires that you have Windows Media Player version 10 or later installed on your computer, in order to be recognized by your computer. If you already have WMP 10 or 11 installed on your computer, re-install it.

My Sansa (SanDisc) Connect does not indicate an internet

The Sansa Connect Recovery Tool can be used to reformat and install firmware version 1.2.0.53385 to a Sansa Connect. This version is used in the current selling Sansa Connect products.

If for some reason device becomes unstable and resetting and erasing content doesn't resolve the issue, the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool would clean up your device and restore it to factory settings

2 things to check before starting the Recovery Mode and to use the Recovery Tool:

- First, charge the Sansa Connect for at least 20 minutes using the AC charger to ensure this is not a battery depletion problem.

- Second, hold the power button for 8-10 seconds to ensure the device is turned OFF.

After these steps, you can put the Sansa Connect into Recovery Mode and use the Recovery Tool.
