How can i solve the problem of samsung 40s if its stuck in rca inputs video 1

Try a reset to this TV, and then check. If it do not help you, replace its main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Need to fined/know the name brand remote control or code number for my LCD TV

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

This set may have a separate back light inverter or it may be incorporated into the power supply. Here is the parts list: http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung/lnt4061fx/xaa If you note, the power supply is out of stock. That is an indication that it is a common failure item.

I have a samsung LN_T4061F and it has vertical colored lines on the right side of screen on all channels. lines are about 1 inch from side of screen and are about 1/5 inches side.

Hi there are a couple of hings that could be bad with your tv. Your screen or your t-con board would be the most obvious. Screens are expensive to replace so I would try replacding the t-con board. The t-con is the board thattransfers your signal to the lcd screen. It is usually located on the top center of the tv. You would need to open up your tv and get the part number fro the board. You can get get parts for this tv at www.interliquidparts.com

MY TV KEEPS CLICKING AND IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO

Hi Patrick,This is an indication of out-of-regulation condition on the power supply board. This is caused by faulty electrolytic capacitor on that board. Most it has a physical indication of fault like bulged/dome at the top and can be easily identify through visual inspection. See sample picture below.9_20_2011_1_47_40_am.jpgIf you're unit is not under warranty period, open the back cover and inspect the capacitors on that board. If you found it, replace it with same capacitance and working voltage that is printed on its body itself. Watch the video below for more info regarding electrolytic capacitor.(do not delete) utube.pngAnother option is to replace the entire power supply board if you can't troubleshoot the unit yourself. This is more convenient if you are going to DIY because no soldering required. I have also a link where you can buy the capacitor kit. Click it here.Let me know if you need further assistance.Hope I helped you.Have a nice day! Thanks for using Fixya.

HI, I have a 40" Samsung Flat Screen TV (Model:

This will not be easy to be 100% correct as to what part is bad as you can see in my pictures here.
It can be bad main board, T-CON board, Bad LCD panel.
http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/LCD%20panel/

I would try new T-CON since it is the cheapest part, not worth to repalce LCD panel.

Basic troubleshooting guide here: http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guide http://www.fixya.com/support/r6150077-basic_lcd_monitors_troubleshooting http://www.fixya.com/support/r7406380-tv_training_manuals Failed TV and Monitors pictures: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/ Learn about bad caps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague Parts: www.shopjimmy.com Parts: www.interliquidparts.com Capacitors kit: http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx he can make you a set of caps. Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

Samsung LNT4065 started flashing 2

I'd say what you really needed in the first place is this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BN44-00167C-SAMSUNG-POWER-BOARD-REPAIR-KIT-/110735490949?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c8597f85

As to why it went dead...I think (and you should pray) that it's because the original problem just showed up again.

The original problem being the power board not functioning right and NOT what Samsung told you.

Chances are I am wrong, of course.

But I'd bet my lunch over anything any large company service rep reads you from a book.
