If you have that error on the display, you need to replace the photoconductor kit. Here's the link to the Lexmark website to guide you on how to replace the photoconductor kit: http://bit.ly/bNhXQ2. Take note of step #9 on how to reset the photoconductor counter. Hope this helps.

This is a laser unit problem, probably being caused by the laser scanner motor being slow to spin up to speed, or having failed completely.

Replacement of the laser unit is the first thing to try here.

Try to check feed roller page break pad must be in good shape, if not it pick multiple pages to print and that can occurred jam.

Hi. If the LCD is lit but without character displayed, go with op panel replacement first because it could just be the LCD since it's still showing ready. Hope this helps.

a 935 printhead error is a fatal error which means the scanner motor has failed to initialize. the term printhead is short for printhead scanner. this error can be caused by either the engine board or the scanner % wise 40%engine board 60% scanner ive done 120 repairs on lexmark laser for the last 7 years trust me one of these is the problem

Your printer is having a Heating unit. It is out of work now. You have to take the printer to a servise centre for replacing Fuser. If it is under warranty, repair will be done at no cost

Here are some suggestions from Lexmark as to why the printer will not duplex:

The ability to select duplex printing requires the following:

• -The printer must recognize the physical duplex option.
  
• -The duplex option must be recognized by the driver under Properties > Install Options.
  
• -The selected Paper Type must not be:
  -Transparency
  -Labels, or
  -Cardstock/Extra Heavy Paper.
  
  
• -Under Page Layout > More Page Layout Options, the following options must not be selected:
  -Booklet printing
  -Poster printing

Printer recognition of duplex option Some printers and MFPs have the duplex option built into the physical printer while others require physical connection of the duplex option or tray.
To check for an installed duplex option:
Print a Menu Settings page and check for DUPLEX under Device Information > Installed Features. (The embedded web server path is Reports > Device Settings > Device Information > Installed Features.)
If DUPLEX does not appear as an installed option, consider the following possible reasons: -The duplex drawer or tray is not properly connected to the printer. Try reseating the printer onto the duplex option so that the duplex option's upper auto-connect connector is properly aligned with the printer's bottom auto-connect connector. NOTE: A "982 duplex error" may also result from this condition.
-Turn the printer off for about 15 seconds, and then turn the printer back on. If the printer was quickly turned off and on, a low-voltage power condition could prevent the peripheral from being acknowledged during the initial printer start-up.
-The auto-connect connector is damaged on the printer or duplex option.

if your getting this noise on every print job the fuser is usually the cause if they have been running on a bit hot they will get flat spots on the pressure roller and it will create a loud kind of clunking sound real common on lexmark lasers. it can also be an envelope setting on some lexmark lasers they have a solonoid for envelope feeding if the envelope inhancment is ingaged in the menu thiscan also cause such a noise

this problem come whene printer fuser chamber have faulty ,
fist of all do service of fuser and check
after than change pressure roler and teflone slive if problem not solve

turn it completely off..let it sit for the length of a cup of coffee..try it again..
