Switch off turn to access the rear, release catches backing will drop access to rear, remover paper if there, alternative on top where you feed paper for faxing or copying lift item may find a paper jam there, be careful when removing from either compartment

take it back i had the same problem with mine got the new one took strips off put in place worked fine

Something must be obstructing it. Check. These panels are precise and must close.

Resetting the All-in-One

• Press the On () button to turn off the unit.
• Disconnect the power cord from the back of the unit.
• Connect the power cord to the back of the unit.
• Press the On () button to turn on the unit.

There is a bug in HP firmware that doesn't allow duplex scanning to memory cards. Once it happens, you need to power down and power on the scanner. (and on a couple of occasions, I had to reformat my memory card)

Remove the packaging from the new print head, making sure to peel off any protective tape or twist-off protective caps.---Insert the new print head or cartridge into the empty slot. Lower any clips or latches and make sure the print head or cartridge does not wiggle in its spot, otherwise you need to pull it out and reinsert it into the printer.---Close the cover you opened to access the print heads and wait for the printer to calibrate the new print heads. you have to reinstall the driver again ,full software, hope was helping you .Mohamed Hejazi

because every version OS has special driver , try uninstall driver and install again
