Zoom stuck and will not focus
Check to make sure you have not inadvertently set the camera into manual focus mode. Many cameras have 2 modes: auto focus and manual focus.

It will not turn on
This is usually caused by a failed component in the power circuit within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

The drop detection was on
Are you try to work on the circle button under the two buttons there is a A'M if you click the wheel right, this will re-enable to automatic focus.
This
happens when the internal zoom lens is off track, usually caused by
impact and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's
not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician or, if you dont have the user guide, go to JVC.com , in the bottom of the screen click Support and follow the
links to the camcorder manuals; you will need your camcorder's model
number.

The video image keeps coming
The focus ring in the lens assembly could be jammed up by dust, lint, sand, or dirt. Try to spray some compressed air into the lens assembly to free it up. If that doesn't work, sometimes you can gently hit the camera against the palm of one hand, in the hope of freeing it up.
Otherwise, you will have to have it serviced.
