dont open it, just spray with a contqact cleaner spray inside the paper feeder , you will see the pick up roller.

If your pc tels you its downloading application, have a look a your printer drivers, your usb cable connecting your pc to printer and or the data cable inside the scanner might have gone faulty

Go to internet onto lexmarks official site, go to their driver downloads and or support. type in your printer name and number, and your operating system and download full driver

What OS are you running? Vista driver works for Win7. Go to Lemark's support page and download the driver bundle.

Hi there

This is the same old story with Lexmark printers, you cant do any thing about it the chips have a small fuse inside them and soon as they emty it blows the fuse, and thats it so I beleave the only way is to buy new ink, or a diferent printer.
Not know any fix for them myself sorry.

Can try.
Turn printer off. Unplug power cord and other cables. Wait 30 seconds. Plug cords and cables back in.

Also seen this on the net.
Use clear tape over left hand row of sensors on front of cartridge and re-insert. ink now shows with question mark but reads as full and prints fine.

but yeah, best bet, never ever buy lexmark.....:)

Go to Control Panel --> Devices and Printers --> Right click on your Printer and click on Print Preferences, Under the Print Preferences Tab you have a option to change the Font.

Is it able to print when you are using it as a printer?

Most printers have a lid in the back of the printer that you can pull out and then just pull the paper out from there. You can also see the paper jam if you pull the paper tray out and try to pull it out from there but pulling from the back of the printer is much more easier and convenient.Hope this helps. If have the model and printer information I might be able to give you more information. Sometimes even a tiny bit of paper will give paper jam error so it is necessary to clear it completely.

It could be the Print Spooler service on your computer that's not properly working. Try these steps to fix the problem:

1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)
2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service)

Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
