Palm treo 750
try a reset, if that doesnt work, then we can try a hardreset witch also removes all your files from the phone.
If a hardreset doesnt work then the phone is in need of repairs.
My treo 650"s just plain freaking out
I have a TREO650 and ran into a somewhat similar issue before. What you did by removing the battery was called a soft reset. There are 4 types of resets; soft, warm, hard and zero-out (personally I would not try this one just because it is difficult to do and it may make things worse in some rare instances).
Here is a website that describes the 4 types of reset and how to do them.

If the pictures to you aren't as important as getting your TREO working, I would suggest doing a HARD RESET.
As a suggestion for next time. Take your pictures and then transfer them to a 1GB SD card (the TREO 650 cannot accept any size larger than 1GB) and remove the SD card. Use a SD card reader in your PC to extract the pictures.
Good luck.
Touch Screen Lockup
possibly the touchscreen is broken?
a hard reset might solve it, but you would also loose all the data in your device.
Viewing pictures on pc
first connect your treo, when the active sync is set you should then see your device in my computer
browse in the device and locate the pictures, then copy them into your pc.
Thats how I do it on my phone.
Phone shows a call coming through but no sound
Taking the battery out to switch your phone ON/Off can cause serious problems.
-------------------------------------------
To receive calls, your phone must be on.
This is different from having only the screen turned on (see Turning your phone on). When your phone is off, your calls go to voicemail. To see a picture of the person calling you!
Learn how to assign a caller ID picture in Assigning a caller ID ringtone. If music is playing when a call arrives, the smartphone rings softly. You can answer the phone as you normally would. The audio pauses during your call. To answer a call, do one of the following:
• Press Phone/Send .
• Press Answer (left action key).
• If the headset is attached, press the headset button.
To ignore a call and send it to voicemail, press Menu (right action key) and
select Ignore or press the Power/End key.
-------------------------------------------
Waking up the screen and turning it off.
Wake up the screen and leave the phone turned off when you want to use only the organizer features of your smartphone, for example, when you’re on a plane and want to look at your calendar. You can also turn off your smartphone’s screen without turning off your smartphone’s wireless features. You can turn your screen on and off by pressing Power/End.
Storage message
I just gave up one of these for other reasons. I stopped having memory problems when I purchased and inserted an SD card to store extra data on. When I first inserted it, it told me there wasn't enough memory to even load the driver for the SD card. I imagine you will have the same problem. I solved it by deleting a bunch of pictures and email and then doing a soft reset on the phone. Once I that was done, the SD card loaded and the email program automatically started saving attachments to the card instead of the internal memory. Make sure you set the options for pictures to save on the card if you use the camera.
Good luck!
Help
it may be an issue with your treo saving the pictures as a proprietary format (a custom format, that can't be opened except with special software.)
I suggest going to your service-provider's store-front and asking about it.
