Please try to upgrade your BIOS, it may solve the issue.

Check out mo bo specs - you may have exceeded mo bo capacity. Or try a different memory stick - all memory are not created the same - some will work in one machine and not another. Experiment if you are within specs.

First thing you can so is, make a live linux cd and boot into it. Then check your inbuilt sound card is working or not. If still not working then you have default sound card.
