hi try to make sure the thread is in between the tension wheel as you thread and sometimes turning the spool over works hope this has been of some help

Hai, How many heads in your embroidery machine? As far as you should have brother embroidery machine's maintain and handling is smooth and carefully. Please check the timings. Otherwise ask your machine mechanic.

You need the "Z" shaped screwdriver to get at these screws properly. There is a specialty driver for these as well ask your sewing machine store it comes in a kit.

I fixed myself. When you take off the front left cover to expose inner workings o0f pressure foot lever, move the pressure foot lever see, the small metal plate move, when looking from back of machine see a small post upper left rear with what kooks to be a spring, lightly touch causing to spring back to the left and you will hear a snap. This is realigning pressure foot and your embroidery unit will register and you will have a normal lcd screen.This helped me, hope helps you.
