The bobbin won't stay in place
Your bobbin is too short. The correct bobbin must be even with the bobbin case. If it is the bobbin case that is moving around then you must adjust the inner rotary hook bracket assy. It must allow the thread to move between the corner (near screw) and the bobbin casing. Rotate the hand wheel towards you to make sure the thread fits between the corner and the casing. Make it as tight as possible without a snag taking place.
Why is my machine making a clicking noise when embroidering
The reason for clicking could be one of so many issues from one that could be resolved with a slight adjustment to one that needs a technician's hand. Start with where the clicking sound is amplified.
If it's louder at the top, coming from inside, it would definitely need a tech. If it's coming from the pantograph (the embroidery unit arm that holds the hoop), it could be a fraying cable (call a tech) or maybe just the hoop isn't set into the grooves properly.
If it's clicking only when the needle penetrates the fabric, check to see if the needle is damaged or dull and change it; or if the sound is evolving from further down in the bobbin area it could mean that the hook is not meeting with the needle properly and it needs to be timed (call a tech) but first check to see if maybe the bobbin's in backwards or if the needle is seated correctly.
If it happens only when you stitch one particular embroidery design, it could mean that the design is stitch intensive - lighten the density and remove unnecessary stitches.
If you switch from regular sewing to using the embroidery unit, make sure you have made all of the necessary adjustments to settings on the machine like lowering the foot feed and whatever else is required of your model (check your manual).
Bottom line, make sure you have everything threaded right, bobbin area and all thread paths clean, a new needle properly seated and all other things set right and if that doesn't solve the problem, call a tech.
My machine keeps breaking needles, I have embroidery unit on it,how do I fix this
1. IS THE NEEDLE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR THE MATERIAL?
2. IS THE HOOP BIG ENOUGH FOR THE JOB? IF IT GOES OVER THE EDGE THE NEEDLES WILL BREAK.
3 IS IT SEWING AT ALL? ARE YOU HAVING PROBLEMS WITH GOOD STITCHES OR NONE AT ALL.? THIS WILL NEED YOUR REPAIRMAN TO TIME YOUR MACHINE.
4. FOR A TEST ON TIMING: REGULAR SEWING WITH STRAIGHT STITCH. 1. PLACE NEEDLE ALL THE WAY TO LEFT AND TRY SEWING. 2. PLACE NEEDLE ALL THE WAY TO RIGHT AND TRY SEWING.
WAS THERE ANY NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE? IF THERE WAS THAT TELLS YOU TO GET IT TIMED.
