Burning a DVD picture slideshow

Hi there,

If you have Nero Express, try using that, as it should prepare the data for you. Also it maybe that you don't have the correct "codecs" installed. There are some Nero updates you can download from Sony:

Hope these solve your problem.

I Have a Wierd problem and its difficult to

go to " device manager" and expand the dvd/cd rom drives. Select your dvd rom there and right click on it, then uninstall it. Then on top of the device manager options, click on "action" and click on scan for hardware changes. Wait for it to be detected again. You may need to have the driver for your dvd drive (usually its on the cd that came with the drive ) If you don't have then just dowload the driver from the internet.

My parents had a Sony drive that was the same. The guy at the store says that some sony models have a chip that detects the type of disc and will only play originals.

Set-up not working on sony dvd

After reformatting a computer, inserting an optical disc into a drive will not allow it to autoplay (there is no operating system to take control of the situation). If the disc is bootable and the BIOS is configured to allow booting from an optical drive, restarting the machine with the disc in it should allow the system to boot off of that disc. If this is the problem you are trying to describe, press whatever key (F2, F12, Del, etc) allows you to enter your BIOS setup program and ensure that your computer will attempt to boot from your CD/DVD drive, save your changes, and allow the computer to reboot. This should solve the issue.
