Where do I get a new magnetron for PANASONIC

Willie, I have checked several of my normal microwave sites and I am striking out in finding you microwave magnetron. How old is you microwave? You might end up finding it easier to just replace the microwave because some places will not sell a magnetron unless you are a regular service tech.

I have a Panasonic microwave. It is Model NN-T774SF. It has an inverter. The latch on the door will not close. Is it worth the cost of repair?

This is usually a pretty simple fix.The spring has probably become disconnected from the door latch head assembly or inner door panel. If so, you can either order a replacement for the broken part, or install a small screw into the broken part, reinforce it with epoxy, and then reassemble everything.Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the parts involved. 9f32bc4.jpg Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done. Door will stay closed

Hello,

when you say your oven door stays closed, then it means its locked. Most ovens with locking doors will be self-cleaning units, although youmay on occasion find an oven with a lock intended to keep childrenfrom accidentally opening it while in use. There are two main kinds oflocking ovens: Older models with manual levers, and electronic modelswith push-button controls, digital displays and electronic locks.

Look for a manual lever to unlock the oven. If there is one, it willprobably swing back and forth horizontally, just below the upper edgeof the oven door.

Swing the locking lever, if one is present, all the way to the left. This should unlock the oven. If there is no manual lever to unlock theoven, it may be unlocked using push-button controls.

Check to see if the oven is in a self-cleaning cycle, or has justcompleted a self-cleaning cycle. If so, the door will unlockautomatically once the oven has finished the cleaning cycle and cooledcompletely, which may take several hours. You cannot unlock the ovenbefore it has cooled.
Unlock the "Clean/Off" button. Depending on the brand and model of youroven, the button may display both of these designations or just one. Ifyour oven door is locked, but the oven is not warm and is not in acleaning cycle, unlock it by pressing and holding the "Clean/Off"button.
If you have the manual for this unit, it should say something about the door lock.

Good luck.

Panasonic nnt774sf door will not remain closed.

You can purchase parts for Panasonic microwaves but home repair is not recommended due to them being lethal if you do something wrong. I would find a good local repair shop and they should be able to find the part and repair. It might not however be cost effective, depends on the part price.

Putting a metal object in a microwave is not necessarily harmful (after all the inside is made of metal) as long as it's done properly. It's when metal contacts the walls or other metal parts that most of the trouble occurs.

My daughter put metal in oven it shut off. the

metal cannot absorb the microwaves, the microwaves bounce around inside the oven. Eventually they reflect back to the magnetron, which is the part that produces the microwaves. The magnetron can overheat and be damaged.

My Panasonic NN-T785SF Keeps blowing the Fuse?

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

Here are some links you or someone you know can use (in order given) for test help, but read the safety warnings first:

The turntable in the microwave does not rotate

First you need to see if it is the motor that is bad. Usually you find the relay or switch that powers the motor and see if you have voltage.
Microwaves are better left to professionals. A novice could hurt themselves working on a microwave. I would suggest getting a repair man to fix it or buy a new microwave (whichever works out cheaper for you)

First, get the bulb part #F612E4W00AP or equal. Next, you should find a few screws around a plate in the unit through which the light shows through. Carefully remove them and the glass lens. When replacing the bulb, be sure it is in securely.

    Door will not latch

The door switch mechanism is broken. Microwave doors have a special arraingement of double switches to ensure it is not open during cooking. Because everything is made from plastic nowadays, stuff like this breaks easily. The switches are commona nd cheap but the mounting parts may not be.

    Microwave door won't latch

Waveless, You're going to have to determine which side of the latch is the problem. Generally, you can do this with the mark 1 finger probe... See which half is 'sloppy' and get in there and tighten it. Note that if you are taking the door apart that you must replace everything as you found it...and don't mess with the hinges. Loose door seals can let microwaves escape. If anything looks like it needs adjustment: stop and call in a pro with the right tools.

Microwave Panasonic NN T551 new does not start even after pressing clock button , no display to set clock . Icon comes only. As : after pressing stop button. No other button gives any response

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your Panasonic microwave oven NNT551. If the clock button is not responding and you only see two dots when pressing the stop button, there might be a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
    1. Power Cycle the Microwave:
      • Unplug the microwave from the power outlet.
      • Wait for about 30 seconds.
      • Plug it back in and try setting the clock again.
    2. Check for Child Lock:
      • Some microwaves have a child lock feature that can prevent certain buttons from functioning. Check your manual to see if your model has this feature and how to disable it.
    3. Reset to Default Settings:
      • If there is an option in the manual or settings to reset the microwave to its default settings, try doing that.
    4. Inspect for Physical Damage:
      • Ensure there is no physical damage to the control panel or any other part of the microwave that may be affecting its functionality.
