Hello Townsend, It sounds like a problem called blooming, or you are having a problem with focus control which are signs of a problem in the horizontal and high voltage section of the tv in the case of plasma TV this would be the excitation circuit. Hi Caleb, To resolve this, please perform the following steps:

• Turn off the TV and unplug the power cord
• Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of your laptop.
• Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on your HDTV
• Connect your device using the HDMI connector (Refer to image below)

• Plug in the power cords for the TV and Xbox
• Turn on your TV and Xbox
• Enter the TV Menu and select Setup (Refer to the image and steps mentioned below)
