Does anyone out there in tech-world know the exact amperage for the two fuses in a Philips 37"LCD TV model 37PF7320A? The fuses are approximately 1 inch long with the following markings: T5AH 250V (ceramic fuse) & T1AE 250V ( glass fuse. I am assuming that T5AH means 5amp & T1AE means 1 amp.
Yes,you are correct.

Again, nothing in manual for Philips LCD will correct the fact that the picture in HD-D mode will not center. The picture runs off the monitor on the left (facing the monitor) with a 2 1/2" black border on the right (facing the monitor). Using the format button on the remote of directional arrows will not correct the issue. The widescreen/ fullscreen function with format does nothing. Moving into TV mode, the format function works to display screen in several ways 4:3, 19:2, superzoom, widescreen, fullscreen. Help, please.
I have a Philips 30 inch LCD and solved the problem by using the circular arrow button on the TV remote. Pointing it at the TV and clicking "right" (3 o'clock on the button), the picture moved right. Same thing on for "left". Worked for me.

I have a Philips flat screen HDTV, model 42PF9431D/37. It shut off by itself and now I only get a red blinking light that flashes 7 times. Does anyone know what this error code is or where i can get a list of the diagnostic codes?
Changed power board and it is working. Has been for about 1 hour.

Philips 37PF7320A/37 won't turn on. Error code 1 long, 4 short (code 14 according to some users on Fixya). The set clicks on then clicks off a second later, and the red LED displays the error code. I replaced the Audio Standboy board, which some users on Fixya suggested was the problem indicated by that code, but that didn't work. The set remains unchanged with the same error code. The new board was from a 37PF7320A/37b with a cracked LCD screen.
My next attack is at the PSU, but that's an expensive part to replace. I have the knowledge and expertise to replace individual components, but I do not have the equipment to test them. There are no leaky or bulging capacitors or obvious burn marks - there is a little bit of carbon buildup on the RCA connectors for the side audio input, but no burnt or blackened components on any of the PCBs.
My question is whether or not the failed componenets are predictable. This post: http://www.fixya.com/support/t2930430-tv_will_not_stay_powers_up and this one: http://www.fixya.com/support/t1738135-philips_lcd both suggest yes. If the failed components are predictable (ie this capacator and that IC), can someone tell me which ones they are so I can replace them?
I have the model Philips 37PF7320A/37 won't turn on and MOST articles on the Internet say it's the Capacitors capictors capictors..I checked all of them. My tv just blinked red lights, had the clicking sound at first power on, but then goes black. No sound. No picture. Nothing. Just blinking red lights. MINE WAS RESISTOR no. 3318 , a 100 OHM RESISTOR ON POWER SUPPLY BOARD. I BOUGHT REPLACEMENT FOR .99 CENTS SOLDER IT, AND EVERYTHING WORKED!!! THAT WAS ALL IT TOOK. JUST A SUGGESTION.. 1. CHECK FOR BULGING CAPACITORS (90 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM) 2. THEN CHECK FOR RESISTORS WITH MULTIMETER ( FALLS INTO THE OTHER 10 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM.) TELL ME IF THAT [email protected]

I have a 37" Philips (37PF9431D/37) flat panel tv. It won't power on. When you plug it in you can hear a click the green light stays on for a few seconds then goes out. I've checked the power board for bad caps by visual inspection with no apparent failures. Anyone have any ideas?
i am having the same problem. My Phillips 37" 37PF9431D/37I LCD High Definition TV won;t turn on. When I press the power button i hear a click and the green light comes on for a couple of seconds and then the red light appears. I can;t figure it out. Did you find a solution?

The TV keeps going to the MENU on it's own...When you exit to TV it goes back to menu within 5 seconds
Hey djames1971 - did you ever get this resolved? My Philips is doing the same exact thing now; sooooo annoying. If I keep monkeying with the exit setting it eventually goes to the TV and stays there, but it doesn't fix it by any means. Next time I go to turn it on I have the same battle with it.

Phillips software upgrade is UPG file format?? How do you work around?
Update starts as soon as you connect usb drive (automatic start). For this version number has to be different than the firmware on the tv. If it is a downgrade it will ask if you are sure that you want to do it.
Philips refer that you should format the drive as FAT (DOS) or FAT (not FAT32)however other persons refer that FAT32 can be used. You can format USB drive by right clicl on it in "My computer" and selecting "forma"t then "format as". Please note that by doing this (format) everything on that drive would be permanently erased.

philips 32in 32pfl5332d/37 red light flashes 6 times no sound or screen
Ok... This is the stupidest, most Temecula answer EVVVVER... BUT it off pure frustration, here is my temporary fix...I taped (using super strong duct tape) a some to the HDMI button then powered on the TV, and TADA...I can watch TV again, at least until I replace the fuka!
