Dell shut down automaticly can someone help

Sounds like the laptop is shutting down as a safety feature from overheating. Look to see if the fan is running underneath the laptop/notebook. It's possible that the fan is defective. If not, are you blocking the vents? Make sure this is room for air to circulate.

If it's not the overheating issue, do you have the power management system software set to hibernate? Maybe it is shutting down at the time interval set.

Hope this helps.

I dont rememeber the administer pass word, what

You can reset your administrator password by:
  1. First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeatedly as the computer starts up.
  2. Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes, of course)
  3. You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.
  4. Just click the administrators user account (or the target user's account), and then click Reset Password. You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.
  5. All done, you have recovered the lost password :-)

When starting up aol a message pops up saying ''

AOL is the worst ISP to ever exist, in my opinion. Their software is usually 'bloat-ware' and it sucks up CPU resources. Having said that, try removing AOL, completely, restart the machine, and see if the issue has gone away. If so, reinstall the AOL software. If the issue returns, contact AOL to see if a particular application has failed or if you simply need to install more RAM in that machine.

Need BIOS password for my Dell inspiron 6000

There is no way around this than calling Dell, this is a huge obstacle with dell machines. The password cannot be reset without having someone open up the machine to reset the memory chip. Dell can help you with resetting it with a code..
