Blak & Decker Home Cafe GT300 won't stop untill water is gone
With
the GT300 you can service the unit. You will need a flat head
screwdriver, preferably a low quality one, that will need to have a
small spot filed out in the very middle of the flat head area to remove a
few special screws that are common to these appliances.Luckily it is
very easy to modify a flat head screw driver to remove the area
necessary to make the tool work well enough to remove the special
screws. After that, you will need a phillips screw driver as well.
Remove all the screws, some are hidden underneath the plastic grip
pads on the bottom as well. You will observer a tin can heater, and a
priming pump (white) and an invensys ******** pump (red). The
invensys pump (CP1, CL1) is very easy to service and this is what you
will find the problem is 99% of the time. Just unscrew the plastic
ends (you may need a wrench) on the invensys pump. It will come apart,
be careful to keep all the pieces, they will spring apart like a jack
in the box if you are not careful. Get all the pump pieces where they
are moving again and then put the pump back together. There should be
two metal rings with a plastic ring between them. You may have to plug
and unplug the unit a few times and get out any excess water before
getting the system primed and running again.
I have just been given

Home Cafe GT300 Black and Decker- won't work, brand new
I have the GT300, and it also started having problems with the 14oz and cream loight s blinking. After trying the unplug and replug thing I gave up, I came back to it the next day and it started working again so I just kept running it over and over until I got it to fail again when I opened the lid and put a pod in to make a cup of coffee. It wouldn't work again so I unplugged it and set it back up and held my hand on the lid and applied a little pressure and it started working again, so far with a little preesure applied it still works. My guess is there is a switch that dosen't make as well as it should, you don't have to hold the lid down during the entire brewing cycle just long enough for it to get started. Good Luck
7oz and 9 oz blinking
Unplug and then plug the machine back in. The stop light should be blinking.
Hold down the lid release lever until the lid opens up. Close the lid enough so that the sensor thinks the lid is closed, but not enough so that it actually latches closed. You'll hear a "click" where the sensor engages before the latch takes hold. Hold the lid in that position until the red stop light stops blinking, then close the lid all the way until it latches.
Press the clean button (with water in the tank) and it should begin working properly again. Good luck!
Nothing is working
I work for Black and Decker customer support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-231-9786.
If the unit isn't brewing anymore, it needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, the
unit can't be
repaired. The unit comes with a one year warranty from the date of
purchase.
Please call the number above so that we can determine your warranty
eligibility and help you any way we can.
I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information
allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
No lights and no display. I have verified electrical outlet is providing electricity to the unit.
Upon visual inspection of the PC board, a small portion of the board had been burned. Using a voltmeter to check components in that area, it was discovered a 24 volt zener diode was nonfunctional. I then purchased two 12 volt zener diodes (no 24 volt was available), and installed / soldered them, in series, on the PC board. I then reassembled the Gevalia cm 500 unit and made delicious coffee. What remains unknown is what precipitated the failure of the 24 volt zener diode.
My new GT300 won't prime.
I fixed mine! The idea here is to help fill the tube inside back up with water. The unit may need a little help to get the suction going.
Preparation: Set the unit so you can easliy reach the back side of the unit. Fill the container with 7 - 14 oz of water and have it nearby. Place a cup underneath the coffee drip container in the front. Have another small cup of water handy.
Process: Plug in the unit to an outlet. Hold as much water in your mouth as you can. Press the CLEAN button on the unit then put your lips over the water inlet valve on the back of the unit. Force (blow) the water from your mouth into the inlet valve. You should begin to hear the unit pushing the water through. Place the water container over the water inlet valve after you have released the water from your mouth. The unit should continue to empty the water container. Now, you just have to fill the water container and make a cup of coffee.
This is the same procedure I performed to get mine going again; I am not trying to make you look like an idiot.

I have black & decker pw1400s it is possible to connect the water faucet
It will depend on what kind of faucet it is. You can get adapters for the faucet on your kitchen sink but I find they are not very good for pressure washers. They can leak and spray water all over your sink and kitchen. For a pressure washer it is best to have an outside faucet fitted. This will give you the correct type of faucet to connect to and a good supply of water to the pressure washer.
It is usually not very expensive to get one fitted.
