Battery light flashes green 5 times, then changes to orange.

The flashing green indicator is telling you (and the notebook) that the battery is almost fully charged, but then by switching immediately to flashing orange, the status has changed to "battery charge is low". This is not normal behaviour and probably indicates a serious issue with the battery. My guess is that the charging is initiating some kind of rapid battery self-discharge. Ref - Knowledge Base Notebooks will power up and work without a battery just fine. Ref - Laptop Battery Basics dummies Try to operate yours this way. This will eliminate the battery from the loop as a potential cause of the BSODs you are seeing.

Free administrator pasword Dell Latitude D-610

try Admin or Administrator Or it may be blank, just try to hit enter w/o entering anything at all. Good luck. Or when it boots up F8 and run it in Safe Mode. Many ppl never put a password for Admin. I've gotten into many computers that way.

What's the password for 2QFLS-91 595B authentication system

Since this is a Service Tag then you need to change the BIOS password. Easiest way is to get the BIOS reset software directly from Dell's website, burn it to a CD/DVD, remove the hard drive, and start the machine from the optical drive. There are several related applications on their site but only one will do the complete job of changing the BIOS, changing the Service Tag ID, etc. The others will only do part of that task.

Error code 1000-0416 and 1000-0141

These error codes lead me to believe the video card that is on the motherboard has called it to quits. You could investigate how much a logic board for this would be, I found ebay to be a good source. This is not one of those quick fixes it will need to be taken apart. Should you worry about cost, I would be shopping for a new laptop Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620

When i restarted my computer lastnight it said the system not a running how do i trun that back on so i can be able to use it again

To resolve the problem, Start the Help and Support Center service and set it to Automatic. Follow these steps:
  • Click Start, Run and type Services.msc
  • Double-click Help and Support
  • Set the Startup type to Automatic
  • Start the Service
If the Help and Support service is missing in the Services.msc listing, this may be due to accidental deletion of a registry key. Download helpsvc.zip file and unzip the contents. Extract helpsvc.reg to the Desktop and double-click to merge the contents to the registry. This restores the Help and Support service entry.

My dell latitude D610 laptop keeps blue screening after selecitng the operating system (has 2 downloads of windows XP) and the stop code is "0x0000000A (0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804E7A0A)

Windows XP at this point is very buggy due to lack of support Try to access your unit in safe mode and see if it works when powering on press constantly F8 then select safe mode if you are able to get in - try to save your information if unable to get in and still getting a blue screen it could be either a system failure or hardware failure

How long for battery recharging D610 ?

when the computer is turned off, the AC adapter charges a completely discharged battery to 80 percent in about 1 hour and to 100 percent in approximately 2 hours. Charge time is longer with the computer turned on. You can leave the battery in the computer for as long as you like. The battery's internal circuitry prevents the battery from overcharging. So About 2 to 3 hrs When you connect the computer to an electrical outlet or install a battery while the computer is connected to an electrical outlet, the computer checks the battery charge and temperature. If necessary, the AC adapter then charges the battery and maintains the battery charge. If the battery is hot from being used in your computer or being in a hot environment, the battery may not charge when you connect the computer to an electrical outlet.

Hi,In this case it would be best to perform a system restore. There are two ways to perform system restore:Open start menu click run and then type cmd to open command prompt.Type CD.. to make c:\ only.Type CD windows then CD System32 and then restore. After once you find yourself in c:\ windows\system32\restore>Then type restrui.exe press enter.Once the system restore window open then click next to select any available restore point. This process shall take couple of minutes to perform restore and please make sure that once this process started it wont be reversible and neither you will lose any personal data.Other way to perform system restore is to open safe mode by clicking F8 on start-up and check safe mode option then further a dialogue box will open to ask for system restore and then follow the above steps.
