D620 bad battery causing freeze

Original or replacement battery? Replace battery, or, Contact Dell Support, if it's a fault or recall on the specific battery, it would be noted at Dell. There has been battery recalls, in the past, that were fire hazzards. I don't know if your battery applies? This issue COULD be dangerous, if left unattended.

Hi, my laptop is a dell latitude D620 service tag: 5y2kr2j -595b. Help me unlock the bios. [email protected].

I'm assuming you're referring to the Administrative password for this model. You will have to contact Dell by phone and give evidence that you are the owner of the notebook on record with them. Once that has been done, they will give you a Master Password that you can use. There may be a charge for this assistance.

My laptop is asking for a username and domain password

As it is not specified here that you are facing problem with Windows login password or domain password so, I request you to share about it too. According to me if you are trying to connect (or already connected) your laptop to any network then you need domain username and password. You can get it from the network administrator. On the other hand if you are facing problem with windows login password then you can reset it by using Windows password recovery software or by some other tricks (I can tell you if you are interested).

Dell latitude d620 needs factory restore

Apparently your model of laptop doesn't have a recovery partition. You're going to have to get out the Dell Operating System CD for your laptop, boot to the CD and reinstall Windows the old fashioned way. Make sure the product key on the laptop case is handy.

Pls i want to unkock my dell latitude d620 Administrator password

you forgot to tell us what password.
Is it a bios password or windows password?

For Windows Password, As far as I know , there are two main methods to solve the windows password problem as follows:

1st Method:
Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type \Administrator\ (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from \Control Panel - User Accounts\.
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.

2th Method:
Windows password Recovery software:
for example: Any Windows Password Reset 7 . It is easy and convenient to use.
http://www.windowspasswordreset.net

For Bios Password, also two methods.

1st method . Open you computer box and Discharge to the Board manually

2st method . use BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool
please visit http://www.biospasswordrecovery.com/

Hope it help to you.

My dell died after a power outage

If the laptop is completely dead, have the power supply charger checked for correct voltage, if power supply is no good go to www.ebay.com type make and model of laptop, refine search to power supply. If on the other hand it is okay the motherboard will need to be checked by a professional to see if it can be saved.
