Transducer not parallel to bottom - kicked up. Manually set depth to see if the auto depth is the problem.

For deep water you will want to run the lowest hertz setting. For example, if you have the option for 80hZ or 600hZ, then the 80hZ would be for deep water and the 600hZ would be for shallow water.

Reset use a soft reboot. Or hard reset make sure you back up all your settings on fish finder with chip or home computer. OK guys so the first thing you wanna do when resetting your unit whether it's soft reset or hard reset we're gonna start with a soft reset which is gonna save any GPS data anything like that so we're gonna head over hold the Power & Page button press the power button we're going to go over and press power button but I'm at the unit but up until you see the warning screen where you have to except the depth on reset Can see we still have our Saved waypoints. OK now I'm gonna show you how to do a hard reset again turn the unit off you should always use the power key never just flip the main power switch to off then press and hold the plus minus key as well as the power key let go of the power key keep holding plus minus until the warning screen comes up in a hard reset your going to delete all data on this year it's gonna be like we just bought it went to the store and bought it and cam home with know data whatsoever no settings nothing OK I warning screen has came up we can let go of her buttons and press except start demo. OK now I'm gonna show you how to do a hard reset again turn the unit off you should always use the power key never just flip the main power so that our unit is off then press and hold the plus & minus key as well as the power key don't let go with the power key holder plus minus until the warning screen comes up and a hard reset is going to delete all data on this year it's gonna be like-you just bought it went to the store and bought it and brought it home no data whatsoever no settings nothing OK or warning screen has came up we can let go over buttons and press except start demo now. OK so now you should not see any saved data so that's how you do a hard reset and a self reset. Load your Data card and shut off the power key. Then turn back on and follow screen steps. This should fix you issues.

Make sure the transducer is pointing directly down when the boat is in the water. Also, this may help

Need to contact the manufacturer for support on this. It may not be fixable.

Probably time for a new one. Harsh conditions like on a boat causes the electronics to fail after awhile

Check the Positive and negitive terminals It may not be seeing the voltage it needs , I have a strike 7 and it did a similar thing , as soon as the load from the transducer is on it wont load ,, Mine was the dirty Neg cable to the bus bar under the dash

To many possibilities. Low voltage, problem with hydraulic pump, no voltage on hydraulic pump, broken wire, heading sensor etc

Loss of depth reading over 15kph, is usually caused by either turbulence from under the chines of the boat, or that the transducer is toe up, or back end up. If the transducer throws up spray, it is back end up. Toe up is harder to see. Get someone to drive the boat and look overboard. The transducer needs to be flat at the speed you want to see the information, and of course that changes depending it you are trolling or on plane and your trim.

Not marking fish could be a faulty transducer or that the sensitivity setting is not set high enough. Read the manual. I am a Humminbird person :>)
