When you do the setup using the windows disc,choose the delete partition option.

If this is not a choice then choose the create partition option.Then format using the quick option.Once done run setup again choosing c: drive

Also make sure the windows disc is clean no smudges or deep scratches,a little windex and a paper towell will do.

Last,be sure the cooling fans are clean and running,the setup program uses alot of power and can create heat.So i want to make sure your not shuting down on high heat.A can of air or a vacum will do.

Try removing programmes you no longer use and running Speed Disk/Defrag.
What happens is the system gets clogged with un needed garbage. A good spring clean may help.

For System Restore to work you need to have the restore points available. If there was no restore points then system restore will not work.

You can try performing system restore from Safe Mode (Best Option more often than not).

Try Below mentioned steps
Step 1: Keep hitting F8 key while computer starts to boot.
Step 2: It should generally take you to windows advanced option. If it boots to windows then you have to try again.
Step3: Once you reach windows advanced option Choose safe mode and wait for the system to boot (Generally a slow process).

Accessing System Restore:

Step 1: Click on start
Step 2: All programs and choose system tool.
Step 3: Look for System Restore (Follow the screen).

Note: You will not be able to choose all the dates in the calender only those dates that are bold will be available for restoring the computer.
Again it might not work all the time so keep trying with different dates in Bold.

You can reinstall the sound drivers from the Acer recovery management, to do so:
Start Menu> All Programs> Acer erecovery management> Restore> Restore Application & Drivers> Contents> Select Realtek and install it

Got to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
Select the computer model
Select Operating System
Click Drivers
Select Audio (Realtek) and download it.
Once downloaded install it on your computer.

If it is stuck in boot loop and you cannot choose any of the options i.e.

Normal Mode
Safe mode etc

Then you can do one of 2 things but both will require your Operating system CD/DVD

1) repair the installation
2) Reintstall from fresh

when you instal the os xp means no problem you can possible to access the camera with out any exteranal application

when you instal the windows 7 or vista means needed to instal the external camera application also.

According to page 6 of the manual, your 3610 came with system memory 256/512 MB of DDR2 400 memory, and is upgradeable to 2 GB using two soDIMM modules.

1. By pressing the Shift key 5 times, an option windows will appear.
2. To remove the StickyKeys feature, click the Settings button.
3. Then in the resulting accessibility options window, click the Keyboard tab.
4. Uncheck the Use StickyKeys checkbox.
5. Click the StickyKeys Settings button.
6. Uncheck the Use Shortcut checkbox.
7. Click Apply, then click OK twice to exit all open windows.

If your both using windows, then yes you can! You can do this for free by both downloading the latest version of windows live messenger from HERE. You may need to create user accounts and this can be done HERE. The add each other to your accounts and away you go! Microsofts website expalins this in more detail HERE.

Once the power button is pressed to turn On, keep tapping the F8 button on the keyboard until you see the "Advanced Boot Options" with the lists of options including "Safe Mode", "Safe Mode with Networking" etc...etc... Verify which option is selected by default, move the up-down arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate through the options and press enter to proceed with the selected options, i.e. Safe Mode (in your case), once the enter is hit, you'll see black screen with white texts, wait for several seconds/ or a few minute and proceed, you'll also see a warning pop up message, if so click "yes", there you are in the safe mode.

If there is a webcam u will have a program named 'Acer Crystal Eye Webcam' in your all programs. If that doesnt work, try updating it from the Acer Website.

bottom left click start.... find control panel and in that click on device manager, this list contains devices that may have software or hardware problems on your pc... your device will be under sound, video and game controllers... you will find most problems in this by clickin properties...

Make? Model? B - G - N? Is it plugged in? Does the power supply work? Measure the voltage across the inner conductor and outer conductor of the power supply output. Does it match the output specified on the label? Did it ever work with your other equipment?

To connect a laptop to a wireless network for accessing internet....you have two ways:-
1. DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) 2. Manual entry of settings in wireless adapter properties.
1.DHCP:- In DHCP method you dont have to enter any settings on the wireless adapter. The wireless network which you are connecting will automatically assign an IP Address to you. But to use DHCP it must be supported by your wireless network router settings.
2. Manual entry of settings in wireless adapter properties. This method is mostly used over wireless Connection in small networks connecting 2-200 computers. In this method you have to obtain the following information from your connection provider.
* IP address (Its format is "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx") * Default gateway address (very important) * Primary and secondary DNS (If not given then you can use "8.8.8.8" as primary DNS and "8.8.4.4" as Secondary DNS...thats free DNS service from google and its very fast) * Subnet Mask (not needed mostly...automatically generated)
To enter these settings you have to rightclick the Wireless Adapter>> and select properties>>Then double click the Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4) and enter these settings. In many cases when you are using proxy server then you have yo use proxy settings also in your browser..
