My GE Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

Your problem is almost surely caused by the failure of the fan that should circulate cooled air from the freezer section to the refrigerator. If you check for vents, normally in the rear of the fridge, and hold your fingers in front of them while you hear the compressor running, you should easily feel cold air coming from them if the fan is running.
To determine whether you want to have it serviced or replace the fan yourself, try entering your model number on the Sears PartsDirect website to see if your unit is one of thousands of non-Sears appliances in their library. If they do, then you will find an illustrated parts drawing with part numbers.

Can I replace the LED light in my refrigerator?

I am not aware of any special tools or proceedues require to replace a LED light bulb, however,...... LED bulbs are generally very long life bulbs (read est. 10 year life, minimum). There is at least one manufacturer which has had some issues with their LED bulbs, and it is possible that GE may have outsourced some manufacturing, so we can not rule out a bad LED, however, it is actually more likely that you have a problem with the board or a switch, in which case the service tech will have to find out why your LED is not lighting.

Worst refrigerator I ever owned--a lemon

I won't say I can solve your problem short of coming around and loading your POS fridge in to the back of my truck and running by the scrap metal yard. Keep contacting GE and the retailer who sold it to you about your problems. Hopefully one or the other will get sick of hearing from you and give you a replacement. A 20 cubic foot over/under fridge with ice-maker can be had for $450 US, which should last you around 10 years or so, which is pretty much typical for white goods. I have had pretty good luck with Frigidaire and Hotpoint so far. I still wish I hadn't put the 40 year old Wizard Imperial 14 cubic foot bottom mounted freezer that I bought about 23 years ago out at the curb. Given the chance, it would probably still be working today, as ugly and inefficient as it was.

Just changed out main board on the back of frig

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

PFS22SBSSS refrig seems to run 40 minutes out of

It sounds like the fan is the problem. You definitely should be able to feel the air blowing out from under the fridge. Unless the control board is not sending the proper voltage to the fan the fan may be bad. You can see on the fan motor what the voltage should be and use a voltmeter to check it.
Here is a diagram with a parts list for your model.

Most refrigerators have a hole on the inside that lead from the freezer to the refrigerator. Sometimes the hole can become blocked by food or clogged by ice. If this happens, no air will go from the freezer into the fridge and as a result, the fridge won't cool but the freezer will be colder than it should be. The above should help you find this hole in your specific model.

Loud buzzing sound. warm fridge and freezer

Could not find info for the model listed could it be PFS22SBASS...any way the most common reason for your issue is the main motherboard part #WR55X10942
prices vary $180 - $200. The circuit that operates the compressor is most likely at fault. Most boards are located at rear of unit lower right, it controls all refer functions. Not hard to instal,l but due to the cost most electrical parts bought are not returnable.

New ge fridge temp on door does not agree with

That will happen easily if the temperature probe/thermistor is covered or located behind something stored near it. The door reading also could be out of calibration. If you have an ice maker the ice maker will not want to work very well above 5 degrees. If you run into major problems or this just started happening and you notice changes in the fresh food compartment goes above 38 degrees then that could be the beginning of a defrost problem. If you should need help let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
