The broiler came on while

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

Based on your post I understand you have a problem with a Kenmore stove, "broiler came on while in the baking mode and will not go off until range is unplugged"...however if you could post a make & model number I can speak specifically to your problem and avoid generalizing.

I will say it sounds like a faulty timer/clock. Does the broil come on again if you plug the range back in ? I'll need to wait for your reply before moving forward. Thank you for visiting FixYa for your inquiry.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

My Kenmore Electric range oven will not cut off

I had the same problem with my Kenmore 95662 range. The oven would not cut off. The problem is, the EOC is damaged and probably has to be replaced. I'm buying a new oven.

Cant reset celsius to farenheit

If the model number you referenced this question under is correct, you can change cook settings between Celsius and Farenheit by pressing and holding the BROIL button for 5 seconds. A short beep will be heard and the temperature setting will change.

These instructions are listed in the owner's manual. If you no longer have a copy, you can obtain a replacement at managemylife.com. Just enter your model number under the "Manuals" link and you should find your manual listed in .pdf format. These manuals can be viewed, downloaded or printed for FREE.

If the procedures I provided do not work for your range, please post back with your complete MODEL NUMBER (located on a nameplate around the oven door, or lower drawer (if equipped) and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

I have code E1 F2 model #95024101 was told to

F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged -
Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

I have model 665 95154 300 I am trying to clean

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

I am getting a E2 F2 code on my kenmore electric

The E2 F2 is an indication that the oven got too hot and shut down. If the oven actually got too hot the issue is most likely the main control board. If the oven did not get too hot the problem would be the sensor.

Kenmore model 95032 - buy new or get repairs?

I would say buy a new one if you can get a replacement for $399.00.

You can get an idea of parts costs by going to SearPartsDirect.com and entering your model number. I would think the element would be about $25.00, and the top would probably be another $150.00. Add in labor, and your quickly over $200.

I would do the same thing if I didn't know how to work on them.

How do I cancel a delayed start when trying to use self clean on Kenmore oven 807189701 Rev B

Unplug the power and cancel it. Never Ever use the self clean feature. We see damage here every couple of weeks. The worst was a burned control board on an oven that all parts were obsolete, so the self clean cost a thousand bucks! Self-cleaning ovens bring the heat so you don't have to spend hours scrubbing. Traditional self-cleaning cycles heat the oven between 800°F and 900°F, helping turn soil and spills to a powdery ash you can then wipe away. They utilize only heat-no chemicals-and are built to withstand high temperatures. (Says Maytag who love selling elements, door locks and other parts),
