Read the installation instructions and make SURE that you have removed all of the packing material from inside and around the door. If you had the bottom apron off to hook it up, some insulation may have poked up into where the bottom of the door seals. Inspect the area that the door seals really carefully - you often can't see the bottom of the bachine side, due to how the door bottom catches drips, but if there's something that is sticking up into the lip when the door closes, that can give you problems. If you can take the bottom skirt off and run the machine, you may be able to see where the problem is coming from. Good Luck! Jim
is your soap door open when this happens if it is then make sure there's no water or other liquids in the dispenser from loading the washer one tablespoon of water in there will clump up the soap and it won't drop when it pops open
THE HUMMING NOISE THAT YOU ARE HEARING IS THE ELECTRONIC DRAIN MTR ACTIVATING BUT YOU HAVE NO WATER IN THE SYS. SO IT SOUND LOUDER AND DIFFERENT THE HUMMING IS THE LESS OF YOUR WORRIES THAT IS NORMAL BUT WHAT IS NOT NORMAL IS THE CLEAN LIGHT FLASHING IF IT FLASHES 7 TIMES THEN PAUSES YOU HAVEA BAD PROCESSING BOARD AND ALSO A HEATER ON SOME OF THE KM MODELS THE CONTROL BOARD AND HEATER IS SOLD AS A KIT. TO VERIFY THAT THIS IS THE CASE GO TO WWW.SEARSPARTS.COM . BUT FIRST ALSO CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A BURNT WIRE AT THE HEATER ASSEMBLY WHICH WOULD REQUIRE PULLING THE DW OUT. GOOD LUCK If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/marlon_56d9a24f02585258
although the light may be a true indication of a pending problem, try this test:
Find the circuit breaker and switch it off to remove power to washer for 30 minutes. Then power back up. Any changes? If light still on, then threat of trouble is real and must be fixed. Not sure what to CLEAN, though. Search for manual online...I'm sure Kenmore put that light on for a real purpose.
THE ISSUE IS JUST THAT YOU HAVE THE MACHINE COMPLETELY LEVEL CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF DISHWASHER ARE NOT DESIGNED TO BE IINSTALLED COMPLETELY LEVEL U NEED A SLIGHT INCLINE FROM FRONT TO BACK ABOUT A 6 TO 12 DEGREE PITCH BACK. THIS IS BECAUSE THE DOOR DOESNOT HAVE STRONG GASKETS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE INSIDE PANEL. BY PERFORMING THIS TASK YOU WILL ALLOW THE WATER APON ROTATION TO TO HIT HIGH ON THE DOOR AND ROLL BACKWARD AND NOT HIT THE BOTTOM GASKET DIRECTLY ON ROLL OUT OF THE DOOR If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/marlon_56d9a24f02585258
You don't need an additive.
The sanitized LED itself is probably out.
It will not light up if the sensor doesn't sense that the water has reached 155 F. If the dishes are getting clean, I assume the heater is working properly. You could have a failed sensor, but you would usually notice longer than normal wash times and the dishwasher getting hotter than usual.
Alternately press heat dry and hi temp scrub 4 times. This puts washer into diagnostic mode. The first thing that happens is all the LED's light up. If it lights up then it is ok and the problem is somewhere else.
If these instructions don't apply to your machine, please post the complete model number from the decal just inside the front of the tub and I will look it up for you.
If it is doing when it is washing, then it likely to be a problem with the pump, but it might just be 'hunting' because the filters are partially blocked. There is the filter that you can see easily, but there is a fine filter underneath that blocks with fine grey lint.
Water left in the bottom can be caused by that because the drain pump is past the filter and is on a timer.

To open the Kenmore World class dishwasher, follow these means:
Press-and-hold down the "Sani-Wash" button for somewhere around three seconds until the showcase screen counts down from three to nothing. The red "Lock" Drove ought to now douse and you ought to now have the option to get to each of the buttons on the control center.
If you're experiencing an ERR code and flashing lights on your Kenmore dishwasher model 587, it indicates an error or fault in the dishwasher's operation. Unfortunately, without specific details about the error code or which lights are flashing, it's challenging to provide a precise solution. However, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the owner's manual: Refer to the dishwasher's manual for a list of error codes and their meanings. It should also provide troubleshooting steps specific to your model.
2. Power cycle the dishwasher: Turn off the dishwasher by unplugging it from the power outlet or shutting off the circuit breaker that supplies power to it. Leave it disconnected for a few minutes to ensure a complete power cycle. Then, plug it back in or switch the circuit breaker back on.
3. Check for obstructions: Inspect the dishwasher's interior, specifically the spray arms, filters, and drain pump, for any obstructions such as food debris or foreign objects. Clean or remove any blockages that you find.
4. Run a diagnostic cycle: Some dishwashers have a diagnostic mode that can help identify the cause of the error. Refer to the manual for instructions on how to initiate the diagnostic cycle.
5. Contact customer support: If the issue persists or you are unable to determine the cause of the error, it's recommended to reach out to Kenmore customer support or a qualified appliance repair technician. They will be able to provide further assistance and help resolve the problem.
Remember, the specific steps and options may vary depending on your dishwasher model. Consulting the owner's manual is always the best course of action when troubleshooting appliance issues.
