You need to lift up carefully at the back of the cover after removing all the screws and slide slightly moving forward then make sure you don't damage front clip holding the cover co'z in my first time removing the cover i damage one of the clip.

I opened mine up hit the red reset in the front and now all good. If ur red light is blinking make sure ur lamp compartment is shut properly, if not the red light will blink and unit won't turn on.

Sounds like your connection is bad, check ur connections on ur cables

You may have to reset the Bulb Life Timer. When the power is turned on, you simultaneously press the "right arrow", the "down arrow" and the "menu" buttons, then press the "standby/on" button, it should zero out the Bulb Life Timer and it should come on.

the lamp may have overheated. check it for bulges, black spots or fogging. replace it if you have any of those. since the lamp uses vaporized mercury, the only way to test it is in another projector. it may also be the colorwheel or the fans. if all of the fans are running and the colorwheel spins up, it may be the ballast. you could send it in to a sharp service center for repair. if you chose to, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

That diode part number is not recognizable. IT IS possible that the full number is 1s1907.which is a 400PIV diode.

If the diode is about 3/8 inch long and 1/8 diameter replace with a 1N4007 which should have adequate voltage margin if it is a rectifier diode.

One has to be careful as the original could also be a Zener regulator. The board nomenclature for that would likely have "ZD" followed by a number. Verify the diode is used as a rectifier type by tracing the circuit enough.

make sure you the projector is set to the same port you are plugged into. are you just using it as a monitor or do you want to use the computer for projector control? because you can't.

Remove the six screws from the bottom and 2 screws in the back that hold on the top cover. Once you have the top cover removed you will see a small round red button on the front of the unit. Press this button in; it should not pop back out. Put cover back on and plug it in.

You will have to reset both the lamp and filter timer before it will change the status of this unit.

Your user manual will have all the steps in it on how to do the required resetting.

Question edited for clarity. Remove the curl out of the paper by running 6" across the edge of a desk against the curl. With scissors, cut the end 1/2" straight. Then cut a 1/2" off both corners at 45 degrees. Hello, Just replace toner cartridge or refill the toner container with refillable sharp ar202 refill bottle or sachet. Remember to remove waste toner if you are refilling, right.
