in order to replace the door lock you have to partially remove the "boot from the drum to the front panel.  not something i would reccomend for the weekend warrior.  can lead to serious leak problems if not done right..  sorry

SUDS (Overdose of Detergent detected during the Wash Cycle)

The motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. If "Sud" is displayed a potential suds lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds.

* If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle, then a Normal cycle, without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
* Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
* Check Wire Harness connectors to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
* Check/Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects
* Check Drain Pump
* Check Pressure Switch
* Check CCU



f-35 is a pressure switch problem, not a drain problem most commonly occurring in the wfw9600 steam duets, and it happens to be a newer model with a completely different pressure switch from anything that has been used on a duet thus far.

by the way the switch costs 120.95 very easy to install

it also could be caused by a few other things,
wire harness, pinched hoses, or the over use of detergent. it is also so new of a machine that some of the parts are unique to the machine like the new pressure switch so some of it will be factory order 2 weeks to get. other stuff the more common stuff is available now as it shares it in common with other duets.


Most of the times, replacing pressure switch would resolve both the problems.

F21 is a slow or long drain. Things to look for kinked drain hose, Plugged or obstructed drain hose, possible pump filter screen clogged, Least unlikely is a drain pump failure.
The pump filter screen is the most common it gets plugged with lint, coins, hair etc. It can be cleaned by the owner however is a very dirty messy job and if you are not very careful you can end up with water everywhere. This occurs when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. You will need to remove the bottom panel under the door by removing the two screws at the bottom edge of the panel. First, check the electrical connections to the drain pump and make sure the pump is running. Check the drain pump filter to make sure it is not clogged with debris. This is a very common problem. Before removing the drain pump filter, pull the drain hoses from the standpipe at the wall and use a shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain hose to get rid of all residual water from the pump and drain lines. This is also a good way to get rid of minor clogs. If you do not own a shop vac, be prepared to lay down some old towels and soak up some water. There's quite a bit of residual water in the wash tub and lines (this is normal). In addition, check your drain hoses to make sure they are not clogged or kinked. If you check everything and still have the error code, replace the drain pump. Replacement parts can be found at searspartsdirect.com and repairclinic.com.

You have a shorted out timer contact in your machine. There is no breaker nor fuse in this machiune neither sorry to say. A new timer will fix yours

Try cleaning out the trap. remove the front bottom cover (two screws at the very bottom) then remove the larege white stopper by unscrewing it

Hello. the F11 trouble code means Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
These are circuit boards within the machine and one of them will have to be replaced. Most folks leave this job up to the service technicians.

I had the same problem with it stopping mid cycle and lights flashing. Turns out all i needed to do was clean out the very clogged drain pump filter. it is located just behind the front kick panel. it unscrews and pulls right out. there was a nasty accumulation there. ran great afterwards.

u must get the inner and outer tub parts, the bearings are actuallly a part of the outer tub assembly,, it is a pain a complete teardown usuallly people just buy a new unit,,, some units had 5yr part warrranties, common bill on a rear bearing install on frontload is usuallyy 600-900 dollars no joke..

Hello. Most likely your water inlet valve is the problem. If you are mechanically inclined you can change this yourself. That said, if your machine is less than two years old it is still under warranty. If so, call for service at Sears.com

Try this, on the access panel below the door(panel that goes across the front of the washer) remove the attaching screws at the bottom corners and pull the panel off, you should see a round,white plastic cap with finger hold bar across the middle of it, unscrew the cap by turning it counter clockwise, pull it towards you to open the trap,clean the filter trap out completely and reverse the order you took it apart to put it back togrether, try running the machine as normal. The problem, based on the info that door will not latch, is one of two possibilities, and one you should be able to identify after reading this reply.

If the "strike" on the door is intact, that only leaves the door latch/switch assembly.

The most common latch is the Frigidaire/Electrolux number 131763245 and second the Whirlpool made 8182634. You "kenmore" is one of those two, cross reference with your model to find out which one.
