This error might occur after installing a faulty device driver, system service, or firmware. So ask yourself, Have I installed any new devices lately?
The Stop message may list a driver by name, disable, remove, or roll back the driver to correct the problem.
Try to disable or remove the drivers and see if this resolves the issues.
If it does, contact the manufacturer about a possible update. Sometimes manufacturers know about issues and make fixes.
This message can also be caused by failing or defective hardware. If the Stop message points to a category of devices, try removing or replacing the hardware to see if it is the root of the problem.
