Hello Justin1372,
Personally i do not have a multi voltage adapter and charger for this model but if you type in google "buy multi voltage charger" you should be able to find something that works.
Please post what you do and how you did it.
I look forward to your posts.

Just re-posting the link so this problem will show as having a solution :)
USB Device Not Recognized
It sounds like you need a driver for your player on the pc - or the old one is somehow corrupted. There are some conflict issues with new versions of windows media player also.
Go to this link;
http://www.usasupport.philips.com/productDocuments.html?ProductCode=HDD082/17B&subCat=HDD_AUDIO_JUKEBOX_SU_US_CONSUMER
and download the "Firmware Manager" about halfway down. Install it and see if your problem is solved.
if not, please post again with details of which windows version you are using on the pc, and I can talk you through a few more things to try. You can also see if i'm online and talk live if you prefer.
Hope this helps :)
Nothing happens when I plug it in.
This solution does not work. my device will NOT turn on, hence the Device Manager does not recognize the device, hence you can not do a device repair.
Mp3 philips hdd082/17 not charging and not connected when connected to usb
WARNING: this process will erase all songs off the GoGear.
Disconnect the GoGear from computer.
Turn the GoGear off.
Hold in the volume + button.
Reconnect the GoGear while holding in the volume + button.
Continue holding the volume + button.
After 5-50 seconds, Windows will pop-up a "Found New Hardware Wizard." - complete the wizard (BTW, you can take your hand ff the volume + button now).

Mp3 problem
Install and run the Device Manager software from the product CD.
Select the Repair/Restore option, and follow the on-screen prompts.
If this doesn't work, it may be that the hard disk has packed up.
Unplugged from computer by dog
First restart by pressing the volume + and play/pause button at same time.
If that fails, then:
Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.
1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new
Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).
