I have two internet connection, each with 4mbps bandwidth. I want to join/merge both of them to get 8mbps speed, both routers have WLAN and LAN capability. 1-How to Double my speed using two routers. 2-Can I bridge two routers in Windows and double my interent connection speed? 3-Any download manager that accepts two internet connection to download.

You need a router which connects to ethernet..ADSL is connected by RJ45(Telephone connection) ... Many cable companies include a router in the Modem (Verizon) others need a router to do wireless which gets connected between the PC and the Modem . the DSL-2750U is well over $2000.00.. a normal wireless router is $50-$100... a regular router gets connected by ethernet to Modem and router ,, then has 4 other connectors .. ehternet to PC.. Also requires power supply. .. wireless has to be setup for the software.

You are not getting a signal from the modem. Check which port you put the modem ethernet into and make sure you're able to get on the internet directly from the modem.

The router keeps it settings when it is unplugged. You have to factory reset it. Locate the reset button on the back and while plugged in, press and hold the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds. After you release the reset button the router will reboot to factory setting.

You'll need to hack it and put DD-WRT or OpenWRT on it for a decent PPPOE connection.

Check your wireless network card on your computer. if you can connect with a wire to the router, see if the problem persists.

Hi. Make sure you're the first one to use it if not you'll have to do the reset process. If its the first time, use the cable attache in the router box and connect it to your computer. Dir- 600L has it's default IP as 192.168.0.xx it's gateway is 192.168.0.1, So u check your Pc's IP and Dedault gateway. If u want to change ur Router IP, go to IE type http://192.168.1.1/ user name : admin Password : Leave it Blank, means blank. U can see the setting and controls of the Router. If u Know well about IP assigning den u can assing router IP. Best of Luck

Usually indicates problem with the router's internet connection. Check the LAN cable between your internet modem and router and try a new cable. Reboot both devices. Direct connect to the internet modem to see if it is working correctly with interruption. The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset If you forgot the router password, you ill have to do a factory reset by locating a small hold on the back of the router and insert the tip of of paper clip for about 10 seconds while the power is on. The router will be reset to out of box status and then you can set-up form scratch.

It looks like your Aspire is A,B,G wireless only where as your D-Link is N. The N is backward compatible, with your computer. You many need to enable one of these on your D-Link to get the Acer online. Look for an option on your router to enable "legacy mode".

If you are using a router ( and of course have physical access to your router) reinitialize (reset it to factory default) and reconfigure your network. If password was provided by some Internet provider, contact your provider.
