Lamp cover error please help
lamp/cover problem in sony es 4 is in two parts, in first case, the led keeps blinking.in this case problem is related with cover switches and thier connection with main board. in second case, led glows permanently, in this case either lamp or ballast pack may be faulty.

Uncentered image using projector
reset the settings to factory default. is it cut off evenly, or is it uneven and shadowed? if it is the latter and you have a dlp projector, you have a collapsed light tunnel. if it is cut off evenly, go into the settings and make sure the resolution and screen size matches.

Short life for a Sony LMP-150
The bulb replacement message is not triggered by bulb condition. It comes on after a given number of hours use. If you did not re-set the hours counter to zero when you replaced the lamp then you will get this message prematurely. Don't replace the lamp until it ceases to work correctly - colour balance wrong it it simply does not light.

Rdf 50we655 lamp replacement--where is access
Solved the replacement problem. Access panel is the entire lower front of the set. Two coin slot fastners, located on the rear down low on the outboard edges are the releases. Having undone those fastners, pull gentley from the outboard edges of the lower front panel. There are big snap fastners that will release as you pull from the bottom, working your way toward the center. Once removed, the cover for the light box is just left of center, held on by two allen or phillips head screws. Remove the screws and pullon the vertical fin on the cover. When it is removed, you can pull on the bulb box, the box will come unplugged and slides out. At this point replace the old box with the new one, and repeat the process in reverse. If you did not buy the box, just the bulb, the internet directions and video are very good. Hope this helps!!

Green screen projection
This is the exact same issue as I described for an Epson user. So I'll repeat it here.
I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.
This
sounds like the LCD panel used for the green color has gone out. The
image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen.
If the green panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the
green light in the image. This causes a nice green hue to the whole screen.
It
could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never
opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not
know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for
a true repair man though.

My picture slants in towards the top from bottom
The issue has to do with something called "Keystone". This allows you to set the projector at an angle and project on an angle. When you set the projector on a flat surface, you would need to adjust the keystone to get rid of the "trapazoid" look of the image.
