The issue has to do with something called "Keystone". This allows you to set the projector at an angle and project on an angle. When you set the projector on a flat surface, you would need to adjust the keystone to get rid of the "trapazoid" look of the image.

1.Go to the Properties by right clicking and go to setting, go to resolution 800x600 and then try again.

2. Connect Projector, Restart computer and connecting Rgb Cable.

The bulb replacement message is not triggered by bulb condition. It comes on after a given number of hours use. If you did not re-set the hours counter to zero when you replaced the lamp then you will get this message prematurely. Don't replace the lamp until it ceases to work correctly - colour balance wrong it it simply does not light.
