Panasonic KX-TG2631 Cordless Phone Questions & Answers
My 2nd phone will ring bt the main one I can't
If this is the model I think it is, your phone line cord is pluged into the base of the main handset. So let me see if I'm understanding your problem...You have a single line phone with two handsets, and your remote handset rings, but the main handset at the base unit does not. Since your second handset rings when called, your line is working, and your unit's base is working, as well, or the other handset would not ring. Therefore your problem is within the handset itself. I will assume you've made sure the ringer is turned ON and the volume turned UP. Use the Menu button on the handset to find these variables and make sure the ringer is ON and turned UP. Place the handset on the charging cradle. Press the ON button WHILE the phone is on the cradle. You might have to use the speakerphone button to do this. This will resync your handet with its base.

Line in use
Your installation may be faulty. If you have to connect the phone to the MFC make sure that the wire that comes from the wall outlet is plugged in the LINE socket on the machine. A wire must then come out from the Phone Socket on the MFC to the phone.
If you do not use the MFC as a fax machine, better disconnect it from the phone line. Connect it only at the time you have to send a fax.

I have a Panasonic model KX-TG2631 cordless
First, let me insist that you back up the recordings into another device, like a tape recorder or similar you will be glad that you did it. then you can either buy a new set or in case the memory gets lost while the unit is taken apart they would be gone.
As for the button, the phone would need to be taken apart and the button inspected, it might be somewhat difficult to replace it, I can not say what to do with it without actually seeing the button, You should get someone to look at it and see if the button itself needs to be replaced / soldered off the board and a new one soldered on its place.

KX-TG2632 causing static to my baby monitor.
Baby monitors apparently are all on 2.4GHz frequency range. Phones have to be either beneath ie 1.8GHz or above eg 5.4GHz and no interference will occur. So simply had to change the phone because its frequency range was 2.4GHz.
