Open the printer cover with it turned on and connected to your pc. When you open the cover, the printer should bring the ink cartridge carrier to the front and center so you can access cartridges easily. Press or pull the plastic tab next to the ink cartridge that you wish to replace and it will pop it up towards you and out of the carriage. if there is no plastic tab to eject the cartridge, grab a hold of it with your finger and pull upward and out towards you. Don't worry about breaking anything or harming the cartridge. Once you remove the old one, remove the plastic tape tab on the new cartridge before inserting. Then close the printer cover and it should walk you through aligning the print heads on the display. Good luck!

it might be the power supply board itself ,either fuse or the condenser is burned.

Ink Cartridge Maintenance

1. Turn on your printer.
   
   
2. Lift the printer unit, and position the scanner support between the tabs to hold it open.
   
   

The ink cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position unless the printer is busy.

1. Press down on the ink cartridge lever to raise the ink cartridge lid.
   
   

1. Remove the old ink cartridge.
   
   

1. Dispose of the old cartridge properly.
   
   
2. If you are installing a new ink cartridge, remove the sticker and transparent tape from the back and bottom of the ink cartridge.
   
   

1. Insert the new ink cartridge.
   
   

1. Snap the lid closed.
   
   

1. Lift the printer unit, and hold the scanner support up while lowering the printer unit until it is completely closed.
   
   

When the paper goes it on the inside of the printer grabs both side which what feeds it through, if it is not tight enough will cause paper jams, open it back up and check the roller to see if it can be adjusted if it cant then you will need to buy a new one, this usualy happens when it has had too many paper jams forcing the gap to increase in size and not allow the collection of one but many, on single sheets of paper the gap wont be small enough to collect 1 sheet anymore.

Yes this printer should come with a USB cable because that's the only way you can use it , so if this unit is new better go back to the store where you purchased it and ask them about the USB cable so they can replace it....

Hi Scottie here, you can fix the problem by shutdown your computer down and see if you printer fix it selp!

To print documents a printer need to be connected to a computer.The Dell 810 is a laptop not a All-In-One printer.

"Turn the printer on while holding down both the ink and paper buttons. When the paper light flashes release both buttons", then hold down the ink button for approx. half a minute until the printer lights flash again then release it. That resets the printer.? PLEASE TRY NOW !
