I get a "paper jam" messege after the paper jam is
Hi, have you tried with a blower or an vacuum cleaner? If not, I would suggest you to try. Remove all the cartridges, open/remove the front and the paper try, unplug the usb and the power cord. Now, turn on your blower and give several hard blows from front or from the rear (where you load papers). Repeat this several times. Now turn on the printer, while the machine is powering up, give another several blows while the machine's components are still moving to load. Once everything is loaded and ready, repeat using the blower. If you don't have a blower but you've got a vacuum cleaner, you can use it also. The only difference is that it would not blow instead it will absorb (s*ck) in.
You can repeat the steps several times, if there's actually a piece of paper stuck in the machine, this will definitely help you to get rid of it.

*Don't use any machine that will give out heat, or your machine may be damaged.

The ink cartridge won't move
Check if there is a stuck cartridge, and if there is a stucked cartridge you should try to push it back down.

My printer said to clear
make sure there is nothing blocking the way. maybe up it upside down and
shake it firmly. If no luck, check the black thing behind the ink
cartridge that's attached to the white strip and press it against the
carrier until it snaps back in place. and then reset it and run again.
that should fix it

Hello.
It sounds like a issue with the hardware inside the printer. if possible try the printer on another PC, or try another USB Cable. Sometimes the cable can appear fine but can have small breaks inside it. You can also try your current cable on another persons printer to rule out the cable.
If you can not get the printer working on another persons computer I would suggest replacing it. it is cheaper than getting a tech to fix it.

Please try reinstalling your ink cartridge. If won't work go to properties on the printer, maintenance, and align the cartridges from there

Just Purchased a Dell AIO
Why do you need to fix the printer yourself?????
Since it is new and under warranty period, you can ask the retailer to replace it
OR
Ask Local Dell Service center to fix the problem.

Paper jam on a dell
This seems to be fault in the transport of the paper in the rollers. So if you have used any adhesive sticker /or even envelope with adhesive printing, it is possible that some glue has got clogged into the rollers. If not there can be some jammed paper in the rollers or the mechanism.
So start this work only if you are mechanically able with the right tools.
Remove the covers to get access to the mechanism . Remove the motor drive assembly , the fitting of the motor to the mechanism. Once this is removed the rollers can be turned manually so that you will be able to feed a paper to see the progress of the movement while studying if there is any obstruction or damage to the paper.
There is a in-detect sensor, usually an opto-coupler , make sure this is not clogged or dirty as this IR detection feeds the signal to the processor for starting the motor drive feed.
Reassemble but make sure the rollers are aligned to be in equal gap to feed the paper without a side pull. Now you must print and see if the fault has changed. If not repeat the above work to confirm the area of obstruction.

Coming up with right hand cartridge incorrect it a
Hi there maximum time we found it is a the head problem. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. For resolve the problem please follow these.
Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. Some how if its not come then Unplug the printer & Manually slide the carriage.
Now Remove the ink cartridges from the print head & Use wet warm cotton swab or use alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head.
Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. After finished it make the head dry then fix it back. Now Try to print something now
If that does not work then follow the next step.
Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

Dell Photo 926 - unable to scan
1. try to make a copy.
if it copy fine, then its an issue with software.
2. Try to scan with MS Paint,
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint
Click on file > from scanners and camera > scan
It should scan if its not the windows issue...
3. Try different computer if it does not scan with Paint\
4. If it works with Paint, try to open Dell AIO center and try to fax from that too...
5. Turn the printer off, take the power brick out from back of the printer where power cable goes in , wait for 15 seconds to connect it back and turn on and try again to print, it should work fine
