How to do a sensor test on a bizhub c6501
Sir/Mam,
Power off the machine. Now hold down the 2 and the 5 and power on. Mode 25 screen appears. Touch the Soft switch tab in the first box on your left you will put a 3 in the middle box you will put a "1" the third box you will change the "1" to a "0". Close out to original screen and power off the machine. Wait 10 second power on should get your ready to copy, if the code does come back DO NOT RESET the machine again! It is indicating a problem the code you are resetting is the fuser and it can catch on fire! That will ruin a perfectly good day!!! Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

Error code 3101
Generally, C-3101 refers to a motor problem. Possibly the drive board. No clues on a simple fix. See if is still under warranty.
Error code C4521
This going to take a while, open both front doors do not pull out the lower section your, going to pull out the upper middle section.(One screw way upper left just below the control pane loosen will not come out make sure you screw that back in when done VERY important can cause codes) then from the right side (WHAT EVER YOU DO NOT LEAN / HOLD ANY ONE OF THOSE FOUR SHAFTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WILL CAUSE MAJOR TROUBLE! Now reach in and you will see a small assy. which is across from the transfer belt on the other side of the unit you just pulled out. On the assy. are three sensors each covered by a metal cover with a dry rag ensure no static electric can destroy the sensors. clean all three, be careful each has a small spring do not let them fall inside the machine. If you want to or have to remove that assy. there are two screws and once connector all the way in the back (DO NOT LEAN ON THOSE SHAFTS!!!!!!!!!!!) don't let the screws drop ! Once done remove the transfer belt, and clean the transfer belt cleaning blade system, then run gamma, and color checks in 36 Mode. GOT IT! Better have a tech come out.
