Please make sure that you have installed necessary drivers for your printer. If you have not installed any drivers, then you download the driver by visiting the link below and selecting your computer operating system.

Its easy as 123, follow this;

• Goto your Control panel from PC.
• Double click Printers (& Faxes)
• Find your printer installed, i.e; PSC 1205 (There may be written 1200 series)
• Right click and click on Printing Preferences.
• A dialogue-box will open, click on the COLOR tab.
• There you will see the options, to Print in color, print in grey-scale or Black and White only.

You are done.

Check your printers and faxes folder is the printer set as the default printer.

• • If the message on the computer does not identify a particular cartridge (it says only Print cartridge error ), follow the steps below to determine which cartridge is causing the problem.
    1. Open the cartridge access door.
    2. Remove either cartridge (not both).
    3. Close the cartridge access door.
       • If the computer message is Print Cartridge Error , then the print cartridge that is still in the printer is the problem cartridge.
       • If the computer message is NOT Print Cartridge Error (instead, it says that the cartridge you have removed is ...Either missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed), then the cartridge you have removed is the problem cartridge.
         
         

• If the problem still occurs, the electrical contact between the cartridges and the printer might be bad. Removing and reseating the cartridges might help. Also, you can clean the electric contacts on the cartridges with a dry cloth.

1. Click and select. (Settings) > Devices > Printers & scanners.
2. Select your product and click Manage.
3. Click Printer properties.
4. Select the Ports tab.
5. Select the Enable bidirectional support checkbox and click OK.
