The HP imaging device could not be initialized. An
I assume the printer is not showing any errors on the control panel ? If so , that has to be resolved first. If not will it make a copy ?
PC or MAC ? What version of OS ? Is it supported ?
Once you determine that , uninstall any current software and/or drivers . Download the latest version , follow the read me instructions to install properly .
There is a paper jam in my hp laserjet 3055 printer and I don't know where is the door of this printer to remove the anybody please help me out.
Remove the cartridge from the printer and look for the obstructing paper especially in the arms of the paper detector switches (2 nos. in the path). If you cant see any, the paper has most likely wrapped around the pressure roller / tafflon sleeve in the fuser. Carefully remove the plate just above the cartridge labelled "Caution Hot - Avoid Contact" (after the printer has been in power OFF mode and has cooled down) by removing the two screws on either side. See if the paper has wrapped around the rollers - remove and fit back the plate. In case of repeating problem look for damages to pressure roller and the tefflon sleeve. Have the fuser serviced in that case.

Try the below one by one till the problem is resolved:
1. Clean all the mirrors of the scanner with isopropyl alcohol and lint free fabric.
2. Flat Flexible Cable from logic PCB to scanner is damaged, trim the edges by about one mm at both ends and re-try.
3. If the problem persists replace the FFC cable ( (20 pin 1mm pitch 585 mm long).
4. If problem still persists the scanner will need replacement.

1) Check the toner cartridge: Is it new? Is any protective tape or cover to be removed actually removed before installation? Is there any other obstruction preventing the toner from coming out?
2) Check with the printer itself: the drum to pick up the toner may not be charged each time.
How do I reset the scan
First, unplug the device while on and press the 'Power on' button for about 5 seconds. Plug in the device, wait for it to initialize, then try again.
Just in case this does not work:
If the driver was automatically installed (generic) after you connected the device, then you may have to uninstall the device and install the device from the program CD/DVD or from the product website. Make sure to install the print and scan drivers. The universal print driver may also be found at this link:
