Printer laserjet 3055 give fax

Good day.
A fax comm.error 322 usually means:
Telephone line conditions were too poor to send a fax.

Solution:

1. Reattempt the fax transmission at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved.

2. If the session fails after transmitting several pages of a large document, retransmit the document as several smaller documents.

You can also try disabling the ECM feature:
Reconfigure the local fax machine to use different configuration settings, toggle the ECM state and/or select a slower reception speed.

To Disable ECM, perform the following steps:

1. Press the or > button until the front display reads "Fax Setup".

2. Press the ENTER/MENU button.

3. Press the or > button until the front display reads "All Faxes".

4. Press the ENTER/MENU button.

5. Press the or > button until the front display reads "Error Correction".

6. Press the ENTER/MENU button.

7. Press the button until the font display reads "Off" and then press the ENTER/MENU button to save the setting. (Off disables ECM and On enables ECM).

TIP: It would also be helpful to check physical conditions of your phone cord and telephone filters if you are using one.

Laserjet 3055 receives fax but

Hi muhammadyusu,

Try to re-initialize the machine using a soft reset. Please follow the steps below for the instruction.

Soft Reset:

1. Press "Menu", then press * and # simultaniously to enter the developer menu section.

2. Press the "> or
3. Press the "Check button". The machine will go through a series of checks and flash different things. About 2 to 2.5 minutes later the machine will return to ready.

If that does not fix the issue, try the Super NVRAM Ret.

Note: This procedure will reset all your settings and you will have to reset up everything (language, phone numbers, country code etc..) after using.

Super NVRAM Ret:

1. Turn off machine.

2. Press and hold down * and 5 while turning on machine. Continue

hold down throughout the power up sequence.

3. When PERMANENT STORAGE INT is displayed on the display, release the buttons. When prompted, set the language and telecom region.

4. To set the language and telecom region, the machine will prompt for them when they have been erased. Simply use the > or
5. Same process for the region. Once both have been set the machine should come to READY.

If neither of the above works, you will need a professional tech to resolve the issue.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Wen i reboot ma system

Hiii

There is a problem in Windows XP may cause problems of disconnection. By default, Windows XP tries to disable USB when not using the printer to save energy. Another possible symptom of the problem is that the PC will not shut down properly after connecting a USB device. A power management settings of the USB root hub properties causes this problem. To correct this problem, do the following:
  1. Click Start and right-click My Computer.
  2. Click Properties and select the Hardware tab.
  3. Click the Device Manager button.
  4. Double-click the branch Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand it.
  5. With the right mouse button, click USB Root Hub and then click Properties.
  6. Click the Power Management tab.
  7. Deselect the check box Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
  8. Click OK and then close the Device Manager.

Hi, when I scan

Yes, it is possible, all you need to do is one of two things:

One is use the feeder, that inherently knows multiple copies.

Or use the HP scanner software, (installed on each computer) and add a page.

One detail to watch is the size of the file. it gets quite large easily and certainly with multiple pages.....meaning you cannot e-mail the file sometimes...

Reset your output resolution for your document in the 100 to 150 range. Higher resolutions may be needed for some documents, but not most. This keeps the file size usable with a smaller file size.
