Why not let it complete remainder printing after cancelling the job. You may also pause printing, remove most paper from paper trays so that it run out of paper then then power cycle the printer.

Hi,You can't just hit the SCAN button on the scanner. It won'd work. Go in the control panel and click on Scanners & Cameras and you should see the HP icon there. Click it and scan from that menu. The scanner should work if you installed the software correctly.Here is the correct link for your unit with all the GOOD software if all else failsDownload the drivers for your printer and install. what exactly is the error dude? we can't figure out what really is happening if just the scanner can't communicate with the computer..
