I have HP PSC 1410 ALL in ONE Printer. I am using original HP printer 2 Original catriges but it is always showing me an Error on Printer as Check Printer Cartrige it is continuously indicates with orange light glowing continuously.
please let me know what is rail and carriage bushings ?

the computer is unable to establish two-way communication with the device. how can I fix this?
Firstly Insert The Printer's Driver Software Disk In The Computer And Completely Uninstall The Printer Driver Software. Don't Remove It From Control Panel. You May Use Any Uninstaller Software For Removing the Printer's DriverSoftware And If You Don't Have The Printer's Driver Software Disk.Here's The Link For Uninstaller Software. ( It Will Work Only With WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM)

Then Clear The Temp And Prefetch Files.
Disconnect the printer's cable form the back of the computer and disconnect printer's power cable and turn it off.
Press and hold the printer's power button for 30 Seconds then release it.
Turn off your computer and then disconnect all the cables from the back of the computer.
Press and hold the computer's power button for 30 Seconds then release it.
Wait 2 minutes.
Hook up monitor, mouse, keyboard, internet connection and power cable and then restart your computer.
Hook up printer's power cable and then turn it on.
Hook up printer to the computer.
Copy and paste the link below in your internet browser and then download and install the LATEST PRINTER'S DRIVER SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE AVAILABLE, IF ANY..

I bought a new HP 64 bit laptop. I have the Canon MF5750 printer. I called Canon and they helped me download the driver so I can print. They said they haven't created a driver to allow the printer to scan. I used to use the Canon toolbox to scan and I had to select save to make it scan but it worked. Any suggestions would be great. Any free websites that use your present scanner with their software would be great. I really need to scan for work but I like my present printer.
You might try "viewscan". there is a free trial, but the software is not free if you want to use it for long.

my HP PSC 1410 printer giving error E and Check Cartridge red light blinking. I have replaced black cartridge with new one but same error. HP Print Diagnostic Utility shows it as Pen Failure. What does it mean? Is there any way that I can find out whether color cartridge is faulty & replacing it will solve the issue?
