an error occurred with the scanning driver

Hi

Please go to the control panel and select the Scanner and Camera, hear you get your scanner, double click the scanner and try to scan the paper, if hear also give the same error then please reinstall your scanner driver,

click hear to download the driver

Unless you get all of the paper particles out of the intake rollers and gears, you will have existing problems. The speed and motion is effected and there are tiny activation switches that tell the scanner light to make a pass and when to stop. If you cannot clean out left over debris then have a technician do it for you.

Unfortunately it doesn't tell you too much detail about fixes. But if you can at least potentially discover what might not be working perhaps you can chase down a fix for that part.

1st do a complete uninstall of the product if you have had i t before Then reboot Reinstall the scanner (don't connect your scanner until instructed)

Error code 5 denotes a device failed and requires an arbitrator/administrator. If an installed device requests a resource type and detects that there is no arbitrator, computer users will receive this error code. The arbitrator/administrator redirects the system in a chosen field. It cannot happen if the computer has a firewall or has user restrictions. The administrator does this for security purposes. Update the driver of the files. Use the click start control panel administrive tools Device Manager scroll to ports(Com<p)+to expand you should see a communication port& Ecp printer port you might see a yellow question mark? right click to uninstall and reinstall the appropriate device. Run wizard in the Add New Hardware in Control Panel

first you check connection cbu to scanner 2. there is a switch in scanner you check on or off that switch should be on 3. did you installed scanner driver sotfwere

Make sure you have the newest vista drivers located here - also, make sure that the scanner platen is travelling the full length of the scanner, it's not being hung up somewhere causing it to jam. Try to scan while the cover is open to watch the scanner head travel.
