My DCR HC36, can not

user manual above.

Ok, when this happens, it always involves the cassette, open/close motor, or drive circuit to said motor, there is just no way without documentation, parts, and specialized equipment, and knowledge. Honestly the servicing of such a sophisticated, piece of equipment, really needs to be attended to by qualified personnel, if a good job is wanted. You need to contact a Sony, head office, ask for a referral to a local service center. Then, ask for a "Quote" for the repair. This way you can decide what to do, as regards repair or possible replacement. As it is usually, just the Motor/Motor drive, sometimes, it is "Further in" so to speak, and the fault actually affects the MCU, processor. Mother Board, in this case the repair may be quite expensive. Which is why asking for a "Quote" is the best way to go.

How to tranfer a video file from the sony disc to

Dear i have send a link .
In this link all solutions of your demand.
this is example for how to transfer video files in DVD.

step01.gif nero01.gif First of all I make clear that I use version 6. If you have an older version that supports DVD (I think all the versions after 5.5.x.x) then the process is the same. Please make sure you start Nero Buring ROM I show here and NOT the Nero SmartStart. step02.gif nero02.gif The new complication comes up. If you see a Wizard close it (there must be a button down right which says Close Wizard or something). Open the pull-down menu I show and select DVD.
NOTE: If there is no pull-down menu then your version does not support DVD.
step03.gif nero03.gif Select DVD-Video (1) from the list. Then just make sure the settings (2) are the same as shown here. Then click on the Label tab. step04.gif nero04.gif Here just put the label that you want your DVD to have. (It's the name that you see before your drive's letter every time you go to My Computer). After that click New. step05.gif nero05.gif At the left of your screen you see the folders of the DVD we are going to burn. Notice the VIDEO_TS folder is red. Double click to open the VIDEO_TS folder. step06.gif nero06.gif At the right of your screen you can see your hard drive. Browse to the folder where you have your DVD files (the files that DVD Shrink created). step07.gif nero07.gif Select all the files. I repeat: ALL the files. step08.gif nero08.gif Now drag and drop ALL the files you selected at the step before into the VIDEO_TS folder we opened before at your left.
IMPORTANT: People keep asking me that. Yes you put ALL the files DVD Shrink or other program created into the VIDEO_TS folder. The AUDIO_TS folder remains empty.
step09.gif nero09.gif This is how Nero should look after all this. Note that the bat at the bottom should be all blue, or with just a little yellow where it finishes. Now click the burn icon that I show with the arrow. step10.gif nero10.gif Here select just Write. Put the write speed for your media (for slower media like here, Nero reduces the speed from 4x to 2x, nothing to worry about) and finally click Burn!
Wait for it to finish and you will have a very nice DVD-Video disc!

Cant see images through camera

Try removing the lens cap, sometimes it's just that easy. Be sure you have fresh DV tape in camera, and the setting is set to camera/tape.

Connecting to computer

i don't know if this a great solution. anytime i tried to port video from the camera to the computer(vista), i couldn't get it to work. i bought a dazzle, but sorry folks i think it's junk. take video, stills and DV to memory stick then read it from there. it works great. i spent alot of time trying diffrent ways and this way is the best. pull you're dvd's from there too. one more thing- lightscribe and label flash are extremely over rated.

Macromedia Flash

I am wrting in regards to my Sony Handycam DCR-HC36. I am having problems with the Picture Package software when I try to load my video. When I try to transfer my videos (from my Handycam) to my Pesonal Computer, the picture package(software) menu does not appear on my PC(The picture package software is already installed).

Everytime I try to click on the Picture Package Icon on my desktop, there is a pop-up that says I "must install Macromedia Flash Player for Application to continue".

I went ahead and installed the Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player and it still doesn't work when I try to click on the Picture Package Icon. The pop-up still comes up. I also, re-installed some of the requirements for the for the camera to work such as Direct X and Windows Media Player.

I also enabled my Javascript(active Script).

The problem is most likely within my PC(maybe I'm missing another type of software???), what do you think are my options in resolving this matter?

Please help me out
