If you have tried connecting and using the monitor on another PC and it works .... then it may be the connection (of the monitor to your PC), or the PC port that is not working. If you don't have another PC to test the monitor, disconnect the monitor, shut down your PC, connect the monitor, restart your PC ... and hope for the best.

Update and install graphics card driver(check your driver, and update) install latest version of DerectX for you OS. Set resolution to 1024X 768
and sect your plug and play Radon 8800 or whatever you have.

Antitheft will not or should not conflict with your applications, why would you want to remove it? I would advise you to speak with the provider or manufacturer.

It is Windows 10. I have reverted my machine back to Windows 8.1 and its working perfectly. As long as you haven't had Windows 10 on your machine for 30 days you can revert back to Windows 8.1. First of all open Settings and click Update and Recovery Now in Update and Recovery window click on Recovery option. This will open a list of 3 options on the right hand side. You need to look for "Go back to a previous version of Windows" option. To start the process, click Get Started button under this option. It will ask you to plug in your charger before allowing you to continue. Make sure your battery is fully charged, because before you press the get started button you need to place the cursor over the button and plug in the charger. Once the screen goes black press the keypad which should then click the button. Wait a few seconds and then unplug the charger. All being well the process will now continue without the charger plugged in. Once you get to the restart screen it should be safe to plug in the charger and you should then still have a screen you can see. Hope this helps.

It help you to fix it.Right click on the desktop -->> Clicks on Properties -->> "Settings" tab -->> "Advanced" button -->> "ATI Displays" tab Then press M or click on the word monitor (in bold above the image) At the bottom of the "Monitor Properties" window that just popped up, select 1366 x 768 in the maximum resolution drop down list. I think that would be the other way around. You need to replace it with a card that supports LCD monitor.

When you start the computer, you can press a key to enter the BIOS, if you do that look at the date and time to see if they are correct, if they are not then the battery is bad. If they are ok then look at the information that shows the hard drive, if the hard drive is not listed, then it has failed. (unless the BIOS does not show that) At any rate, this issue is a hard drive issue and it is either failing or has lost its boot sector information. You can correct a boot sector issue with a windows disk if you have it, but since you did not list the operating system info, that is all I can offer.

You may have a bad capacitor which involves on board soldering and a cap test unit. You can sometimes see a bad cap (capacitor) due to the top bulging and not flat. Most LCD screen issues like this are going to be about a bad cap. There is a web site that may help; http://www.badcaps.net/forum/

How did the auto configuration came about? Try pressing the buttons before powering up. Maybe some of it are stuck.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). normally along the number keys are cymbals, you must look for one that is a wireless sign, then i think you must press a key with this key to enable it, normally its a fn key

The speakers are not supposed to plug into the monitor, they will plug into the speaker jack on the back of your computer (usually a green plug or it will have a picture of a speaker next to it)

You probably have a few dodgy caps on the power board inside. It's an easy fix if you are confident around electronics.
If not, pop it off to your local TV repair shop and have it taken care of now before it gets expensive with a complete failure.

Usually this happens when the monitor is trying to translate the signal given off by the video card.

Nothing to worry about, simply a process that the system needs to go through.

Time for a new monitor. I have the same problem. Tried the monitor on three different PCs and it turns on for 2 seconds then goes blank, power stays on (green LED on power switch).Temporary solution that worked for 1 day was to turn the brightness to 0 if you can manage to keep it on long enough to use the menu.

usually when you turn a monitor on it will display the company name of that monitor. Then after that it waits for the signal from the computer if there is no signal coming from the computer it usually has to do with the video card

not necessarily, its just not receiving signal from the computer check your video card that might be the culprit

Unfortunately, a stripe on an LCD monitor indicates a physical failure of the LCD panel itself. The only solution is to replace the panel with a new one.
