OSD Lock
The OSD can be enabled or disabled by pressing and holding the Menu button on the front panel for 10 seconds. If the OSD is locked, the warning message OSD Lock displays for 10 seconds.
If the OSD is locked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to unlock the OSD.
If the OSD is unlocked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to lock the OSD.

Hello the Lcd is bad get t replaced

go to control panel open display and change setting--- remember to apply changes.

Have someone to help you , replace the electronic componentsin the Inverter Circuits.One may have to use a Desoldering Tool , Soldering Ironand a good soldering lead.

sounds like back light inverter is bad might be cheaper to replace than repair

Follow this instructions to disable sleep mode
In windows XP
1)Right-click the desktop, and select "Properties."
2)Click the "Screen Saver" tab, and click the "Power"

button at the bottom.
3)Change the option next to "System Standby" to

"Never" for either "Plugged in" or "Running on

batteries" or both if that is what you want. Click

"Apply," "Okay" and "Okay" once again to close the Display Properties dialog.
In windows vista

1)Click the "Start" menu, and then click the Control Panel.

2)Click "System and Maintenance," and then select "Power Options."

3)Select "High Performance" to disable the overall sleep mode. The monitor will still go into sleep mode unless you click "Change Plan Settings" and disable all sleep options.
In windows 7

1)Click "Start," and then select "Control Panel."
2)Double-click "Power Options."
3)Select "High Performance" under "Additional Plans," and then click "Change Plan Settings." Change all of the options to say "Never."

Verify that you have correct video driver installed in your PC.
