Water does not seem to enter machine - no problem with container
1> the 2 non return valves of pump can be damaged and the pup only vibrate and dont pump.(if it is so pump is vibrating at same range it do not goes silent)
2>> it can be filled with calc and water cant get out(in this cases, pump change the voice and goes silent after 30 sec up to 1 minute)
3>>> it could have partialy damaged non return valves, in this case you should open steam valve to let the pump flow the water though her body, after when(if ) you get the water from steam valve close it and prevent emptying of container(prevent geting air in pump) becouse you will have same trouble again.
>>>> if it is solution number 1 or 3 than my advice is change the pump. if it is the 2nd, you should clean the boiler from calc.
Standby light is flashing
I had the same problem with my machine and managed to get it working again in a few easy steps. This machine is great but it can be VERY tempermental so here are a few tips:
1.The barcode reader MUST be clean or it will not read what the disc is (It is the little glass screen where you place the disk.) If it is not clean the lights will all flash.
2. The little floaty thing in the water container has to be floating in order to keep the machine running- if it won't float, shake it well to dislodge the air pocket that might be jambing it.
3. If the red stanby light won't go away, it is because the disc you are using is either damaged or leaking and it WON'T go away until you replace the disc...(you might have to do it more then once) if that doesn't work- try hitting the reset button on the back of the machine (the little black switch that has a (- and o) as well as unplugging and plugging the machine back in. Lastly, what worked for me was inserting a new disk and only partially clicking in the disk so the 'heating' light came on- leave it like that for about 10 seconds and then very slowly close the disc completely. Hope this helped!

Broken handle on coffee maker
Hi,
I hope you are ok after this.
I strongly advise you to find the address of the manufacturer's customer service department (google - or ask whoever you bought this from)
Then write a letter to them explaining this. You should be entitled to a complete replacement item free of any charge to you. - Not even pay for postage.
Tell them that it has injured you, and send the unit back - using recorded delivery (otherwise they may "loose" it)
Ask for a replacement item to be sent - plus the cost of returning the item to them. State clearly that it was a dangerous accident that caused you physical pain.
You should get a replacement sent to you within 7 days.
If not - contact a lawyer who will champion your case against the company. Any product that fails in a dangerous way - causing injury - is liable to pay compensation to you of several thosand dolars.
This is not acceptable - and they will be getting off lightly with sending you a replacement item. You may wish to add a comment about settling out of court for damages of under $1000 in addition to a replacement item.
NOT SO GREAT COFFEE GROUNDS!
Might there be some stuff crusting the dispanser vent? Did you clean it regularly? If you've not done that, this is what you do:
1) Open up the lid where the T-Disc is supposed to go.
2) Take out any moveable (not breakable) object, for instance the thing that punctuates the T-Disc(its made of two parts stuck together) and the T-Disc holder.
3) Take 'em apart and put 'em into your dishwasher or wash it by hand.
4) Wipe the entire T-disc area with a damp cloth, make sure nothing stays there that isn't supposed to be there.
5) Put the removed and cleaned parts back very carefully and watch out that they are exactly in place, if in doubt wheter they are fitted correctly, just shake them a little. There should be no movement other than up and down.
6) Enjoy your coffee!

Tassimo won't work automatically.
Just hold the button pressed down(i suppose you didnt know that) and wait until your cup is filled as you like to have it(in manual mode, you have to hold the button down, not just press it once).
[OT:] I would like to have it that way, because the espresso is not strong enough in my opinion, i would use less water...

Braun Tassimo 3107 or 3701
Yessir, you need a t-disc to use it, because the machine reads the bar code that is imprinted on the aluminum lid of the t-disc to get instructions of how hot the water should be, and how much water should be used for the beverage you're qnting to prepare. no t-disc, no drink, no working machine. it's that simple.

Starts fine, but loses fizzle at the end
Try cleaning the inside where the discs go. There is a sensor underneath the clear plastic part which reads the barcodes on the discs. Make sure it is clean. Have you tried using the cleaning disc? Also if you remove the parts underneath where the discs go you can clean them too. Sometimes stuff will get stuck inside the plastic piece which leads from the disc to the cup... Just a couple suggestions...
