Need a manual for washer model # mah8700aww
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Unfortunately this forum does not supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
Good luck,
John C.

Door is locked and won't
if your washer has a lower front panel removed, then on the right side get your hand under the door panel and find a small level and pull down while pulling the door open. if you are successfull then close and open the door, then put it to wash. if it worked good install back the lower front panel and you are done!

EVERYTHING WORKS FINE UNTILL IT
First, make sure the 4 shipping bolts have been removed, and that the machine is level front to back and left to right BOTH! Some machines prefer to be high in the front. VERY IMPORTANT Must have a minimum of clothes & towels, sheets or blankets to wash. DON"T wash 2-5 item loads (small loads)
run machine at least 2/3 full of dry clothes. These machines are built to wash more per load, also because of the many technical parts of the machine, sensors and relays, the machine decides how much water to use not the user! Some "Old Schoolers" have a real issue with the lack of water and unclean clothing... most complaints are user error. Enjoy the new front loading technologies! Cheers! Happy Washing.

FRONT DOOR SEAL LEAKING
the
bellow or gasket may need to be replaced. this is a common problem with
front loaders as the bellow can be pierced by anything that may be in
or even on your clothes. I would visually inspect every inch of the
front bellow to see if there is a TEAR or PIN HOLE.
New
bellows $150 plus fitting so I use a Bike repair it and used the glue
to glue a piece of bicycle tube to the inside of the seal to cover the
chip by 1 cm either side and trimmed to the same height as the seal lip.
I
then placed a little bathroom sanitized silicon sealant over the repair
within the chip, wet down with soapy water on the door glass in the
chip area and shut the door. Carefully wipe of any excess with wet
finger and repeat. Open the door and let it all cure.

Having a vibration issue during
When the inner and outer tubs are assembled, there is a fairly close tollerence between the two. When either the bearings and seal go faulty, it created a lot of free play which results in the inner drum rubing against the outer drum. That friction creates serious damage. Another similar action is if the inner spider (3 holding legs attatched to the inner drum ) breaks loose on one or more of the studs. The drum will tilt excessively and rub against the outer drum as well. Quick way to test is to open the door and push the inner drum up and down while rotating the drum slowly clockwise. If there is excessive movement there is the trouble. Truthfully when a washing machine gets to that depth of repair, i suggest a new machine as the individual costing to repair adds up to quits a bit. You need to way up if it is worth it.(somehow as nature has it there will always bee an additional cost somehow).
